I would also like to point out that LA's Mayor, Villaraigosa, was big in MEChA while in college. This organization advocates the return of the whole Southwestern USA to Mexico. One thing MEChA focuses on is getting their people into political office. The raging lefties in SoCal vote for them because they want to see the minorities have a voice. Sadly, when the minorities finally take over completely there will be no more SoCal, just Northern Mexico.

This is exactly what happened in Maywood California. The city is 96% Hispanic and is dominated and run by illegals or those that protect and exploit illegals. Try a Free Republic search with keyword "Maywood".


The city eliminated the Police Department's traffic division after complaints that officers unfairly targeted illegal immigrants. Then it made it much more difficult for police to tow cars whose owners didn't have driver's licenses, a practice that affected mostly undocumented people who could not obtain licenses.

If you get stopped in LA. County without registration or a drivers license they will impound your car for a month. But Maywood saw that as racist against illegals. When illegals are stopped police are not allowed to impound their vehicles.

They declared the city a "sanctuary city". They give city contracts on things like trash removal to their cronies. Maywood is a country inside a state.
