The city eliminated the Police Department's traffic division after complaints that officers unfairly targeted illegal immigrants. Then it made it much more difficult for police to tow cars whose owners didn't have driver's licenses, a practice that affected mostly undocumented people who could not obtain licenses.

If you get stopped in LA. County without registration or a drivers license they will impound your car for a month. But Maywood saw that as racist against illegals. When illegals are stopped police are not allowed to impound their vehicles.

They declared the city a "sanctuary city". They give city contracts on things like trash removal to their cronies. Maywood is a country inside a state.

Be ready for 400 million by 2035....and guess from where...we will be a third world country..with very wealthy with private schools and security...and the poor who live in shanty towns....full of violence and corruption......sounds like Mexico and will be coming to a city where you live....no Social security...schools will be terrible..hospitals will be clinics..good luck kids of ours and their children...I am doing all I can..but I am losing...
