Google Ignores Veteran's Day

Google, which frequently celebrates minor holidays like Halloween with special changes to their trademark, today ignored Veteran's Day. They have noted Halloween, Google's 8th Anniversary, Persian New Year, Martin Luther King Day & the World Cup, among other holidays this year. Veteran's Day is meaningless to them.

Google is seriously p*ssing me off. From raw communist censorship in China, to harassment of Republican videos on its YouTube subsidiary.

That is true. They did note Independence Day. And Percival Lowell's Birthday.

Eventually, Google will enable the modern era to return to the old Pharoah days of striking one's name from all obelisks, monuments, and scrolls, so that they are lost for all time.

Welcome to the New Democrat Era of:
- Bi-partisanship and New Tone
- Support of our troops
- Love of our country
I'm getting the warm and fuzzies right now.

Almost as bad as CNN this morning which only seemed to recognize fallen soldiers rather than veterans. It really ruined my breakfast.

They always have a very appropriate designation for all traditional holidays. My favorite was Memorial Day. It was very touching, and I made a point of telling them so. :O) Dogpile is all I use now.

Unfortunately, Google is the best search engine, and yes, I've tried all the others. I won't click on their advertising links, but have resigned myself to the fact that they are a bunch of left wingers who hate our military. They've never recognized military holidays because they believe that when the new world order takes place, they'll be one of the overlords.
