"I doubt the two dozen or so Freepers who sat this election out had much of an effect."
Yes. I'll be interested to see who voted and who didn't. It will be a very good indicator of where we stand as a country. And with regard to the two dozen or so Freepers...I hope you're right.

I have not been giggling over decline of the housing market. Far from it in fact. Check all my posts if you do not believe me. What I saw going on is stark reality. What is about to happen in the U.S. is a tragedy. It will get much worse before it gets better. A few months ago, one freeper thanked me for saving her family over $ 250,000. She thanked me again last month. Why? Because some of her friends got caught in some of the mortgage scams going on out there. She tried to warn them but they did not listen. A close friend in Oregon lost about $ 500,000 in the past few months. I warned him, too. Several times. But he has too much money for his own good. Too late now. You take your chances in this world. It is a very cruel place. Have a nice day!

"Quit blaming the voter."
Exactly who else elects our government officials? Voters choose who runs this country. Unless you believe voters are not responsible for their own votes, I'm not sure who else you blame for who ends up in Congress.

You are right about Rush, his flopping around mocking Fox on the dido cam costs votes. But you can't blame the election on Rush, Rush was a very minor player. I think Rush's days as the voice of the GOP is over. He was done the conservative moment much good over the years, but as we all know one "OH Sh*t" wipes out a thousand "atta Boys". LOL. Rush is a good guy and has had a long run.

Well....since universities and colleges are hiring only leftist professors....
After reading this post, it sounds like the PROGRESSIVE party will be THE biggest.
GAG ME!!!
BTW...Fox news is reporting that Bush is sending the John Bolton nomination back to the Senate for the lame duck session...Pray everyone.

No silly...Neil Patrick Harris, the guy who used to play Doogie Howser, M.D., was in bed with Jane Seymour. Rutles4Ever posted his picture in
#59. For some reason, he just really creeps me out and Jane is one of my favorite actresses, so it was really disturbing.

I don't blame ANYONE for not re-enlisting..or enlisting at ALL.
I would surely wait until after the 2008 elections...or would tell my child to.

Thanks, since I didn't listen to him yesterday and am not listening to him today I didn't know exactly which comment you were referring to.

I am with you 100%. I think I am going to type in the door hangar for the GOP and the one for the Dims from last spring. Our political strategist don't have clue!

Yes...thank you george. These are all the people who will now prance ever more across the print media and tv because Republicans have lost their spine.
Thanks for pointing that out.

"Bushbots". Your sneering adjective belongs at DU, not here.
Your sneering attitude is precisely Democrat and Liberal. Your manner of presentation is utterly representative of Paula Begala school of MSM guidance.
