I love to have a snap shot of Kerry face after the election. The caption would say "My timing sucks". That goes for jokes and campaigning. Ironically, Kerry has gotten weaker by the day.

My memory may be too long. After Impeachment, the idea of even speaking to these bastards became utterly disgusting to me.

I should add that I WAS a big supporter of GW, up until a short while ago. Then I became a so-so supporter. I did vote and do campaign work for both the 2000 and 2004 elections, so I did support him and the party.

A bunch of them might have been moderates when they ran for office but a few weeks in D.C. and they will come around to what ever Madam Speaker wants. It's like "do you want your desk in the hall or a nice office. Play by my rules and you will be treated well."

Yep. That's the way it works. You've got to go along with the party line to get along in DC. Especially for a freshman representative who maybe wants to stay in Congress and get a good committee assignment that could help his district. The only good thing about that is that in two years maybe the people of his district will see what he has become (gone over to the moonbats) and go back to the Pubbies if they put up a good candidate.

"I'm not giving up on FR, yet."

This is the first day since I joined in 2001 that I am "considering" not reading FR for a while. I'm still reading, but if I find it is counter-productive, I'm out for a while.

One of the things I have enjoyed from FR was reading the thought-provoking and interesting posts. I simply HATE all of the silly one-liners which have taken over lately. This forum has become a chat-room for people who want to make smart remarks which do nothing to educate, inform, or enlightening. Most of what I find today are juvenile statements. May I swipe one of Rush's terms? I call this an attempt by the "drive-by" detractors to weaken the effectiveness of this forum.

Am I the only one who noticed how positively gleeful he was talking about Republican losses on Tuesday night?

Nope. Also Laura Ingraham and Ann Coulter.

I'm not feeling sorry for myself. I did my part. We were promised conservatism and got jobbed instead. I prefer to take a stand and fight off everything the rats try to do.

I second that sentiment. I just wish our majority Congress felt the same way for the past twelve years.

These guys dragged our party into quicksand. I find it profoundly immoral to accept the philosophy that "we should just go to war with the Congress we have." THESE PEOPLE ARE WORKING FOR US! People are behaving as if we owe something to Joe Shmoe because he's got an "R" next to his name, whether or not he's a liar, a fool, or both. WAKE UP! We're not victims of domestic violence who refuse to leave their spouses. We're voters who were promised one thing and received something completely different. If there's no accountability for the people under our own roof, then the party is D.O.A. /rant gah-dang, where's my Prozac?

Ewwww...she thinks she's cute. Stop smiling at her, Mr. President!

She definitely has a geriatric Betty Boop thing going on.

Kristol is gleeful because he is a McCain handmaiden, and believes, along with much of the conventional MSM wisdom, that McCain is now best-positioned to be the GOP nominee for president in 2008.

The troops are going to vote with their feet.

That is one of my major concerns-- they need to know that the American people are going to stand behind them and that the election results will not change that. We cannot just hit the snooze button on this War.

Thanks, I know where the donor info is.

Whenever I see someone constantly bash GW on FR, my question to that poster is simple, "Show me one reply or post where you supported our president or the Republican Party!"

I'm still waiting.

I know there are regular donors and those who have supported GW and Republicans, Sometimes, something makes those good people angry, and they post that anger here. However, when it comes to doing what is correct, they do the correct thing. I understand the anger of these people and their frustrations, they are not the constant Hate GWers on this site.

That needed National coverage?

You obviously haven't stopped to think that through: EVERYTHING the wonderful Democrats do needs covering; it wasn't that way with the Republicans.

But the MSM is still orgasmic that the Democrats have ridden into town to "save" the country, doncha know?

Agreed. How is Bush to address those who want to throw him out of office? He said what he needed to say yesterday, although it did not thrill me.

My reasoning for why we lost this week......Repubs showing a lack of spine when they should defend the party with the same arrogance as the dems. Why no cries of voter fraud this week? We all know it happened.

Wrong perspective. The troops know that the American people didn't stand behind them the one time it really counted.
