If that were true then you would have to admit that he serves "milquetoast" segments about spaghetti recipes, polishing statues with poison as a child, listening to old records, you know, really hard hitting issues of our time. I have to admit that when I first began listening to Savage, I could hardly stand the segments regarding his personal life. But for the past few years, I've learned to appreciate his personal experiences in life. IMO, it makes him look more like a real person than some political talking head. Besides, who the hell wants to hear or talk about politics all the time? Whether you like him or not, he certainly has the gift of gab.

Then make up your mind about what confuses you, if you can.

Just delivering a description does not call for an argument.

True, but Weiner contradicts himself on this too. He can be quoted as condemning Rush in particular because he didn't think Rush talked about "serious" issues enough.

Gallagher took the side of Castro against Elian Gonzalez, but you will never hear him talk about it.

Hey, you seem reasonable. You're just now finding that out? ;-D I've stated many times in the past that I wish Savage would lay-off the other talk show hosts a bit, and a few other thread regulars feel the same way.
I can't stand Mike Gallagher, but I'll bet you don't find me slamming him and Weiner at the same time.
I can't say I'm a Gallagher fan. He's on the radio here locally when I get up in the morning, so he's just background noise for the most part. I've heard others complain about Gallagher saying (or doing) something pretty questionable a while back, but I can't remember what it was. Anyway, at the end of the day, all this name-calling and arguing minor points accomplishes nothing. Welp, onto this evening's thread. Hope we can keep it a bit more civil for once.

I wonder if he knows who Castro is. He could have gotten Cuba and Hawaii mixed up. I'd like to get deported to Hawaii.
Picture time at the Capitol. Y'all have fun!

"It's the same damn amnesty legislation! And how are the Repubs in Congress "getting half a loaf"? They didn't want any sort of amnesty plan, no matter what the hell President Bush calls it."
How's that workin' out for ya?
