We have the results now to show the success of the Japan strategy in that situation.

Like as I have said, it will take another attack, far worse and then it will be over for the libs and Dems as far as power goes.
Ask the Spanish about that canard.
All these "war-weary" voters who have contributed nothing to the war effort besides the time they spend watching the news make me wonder if we simply have a glass jaw when it come to war.

I agree...I think President George W. Bush is a great man...the only criticism he's getting right now is that if there had been more of a Conservative tone, we might have done better. None of us doubt that President Bush has done more to defend this country and more than any other person would have done at the expense of his entire political life than George W. Bush. He is committed First, to the security of this country which to him will justify sacrificing Rumsfeld...

ya kick your dog enough times.. one day he will bite back and defend himself......
The dog bit back hard last night. Unfortunately, it doesn't sound as though the GOP leadership can feel the pain yet.

What do you think about this, Johnnie?
My thinking is that the new house and senate minority leaders need to fight Bush just as much as the Dems in order to come out of this with a viable party at all for 08.
To: patriciamary
Honestly I am bitter, but All I can do is pray and hope for the best for this country. I'm not bitter, or mad at the voters or non-voters, the liberals or conservatives, and I pray as well for this Country.
But how can we speak of prayer and Gods will in anything until we are willing to see the truth of the matter? Do we want to be without a clue like Bush was when we lost the house, senate, now Rummy? He did not have a CLUE!
The truth is God protects his own, but he also allows bad to happen to his own. Particularly when they are out of His will.
As a Country, we have allowed the debasement of Christianity in this Country, we have allowed crosses to be torn down and commandments to be shattered. I think God may have a plan to let us taste our own medicine.

I would suggest the first thing everyone does is take a break from politics, hang out with family and friends and enjoy life. Recharge your batteries.

We can't blame anyone for this mess but ourselves!! (conservatives) who sat this one out! Now we all will have to pay the price for it!!! Hope not too many die from the laziness!

Rush: Bush's attitude is, Dems won, I'll give them whatever they want.

What Japan strategy?
Keeping elements of the old system such as the emperor?
All Japan elections in 1946 (under the imperial era constitution!), less than a year after the occupation began?
To: LibertyLee
Oh, man...
Rush just said: "Bush told Nancy Pelosi, 'What do you want?'"

My boss is pretty bummed today too. He said something about it to me this morning and I said "don't get me started -- or I will never shut up!"
At least my conservative Repepublican congressman keeps his seat... it was important to me to keep him in Congress.
There will be more elections folks!!
