American Muslims Have Greater Political Say http://www.iqna.ir/en/news_detail.php?ProdID=77882

Muslim would be first in Congress

If Detroit native wins Minn. seat, as expected for Democrats, he'll take office oath on Quran.
http://www.detnews.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20061025/POLITICS01/610250359/1022/POLITICS

Let us remember, the Quran has no separation of church and state (of course I don't expect him to use the bible), i've told people about him a million times and his connections... no one listens, the same with CAIR.

Frankly, I expect the dems will be more cooperative with the President than McCain and his fellow backstabbers ever were.

We said that for months. And just enough stupid conservatives thought it was better to teach the GOP a lesson that it cost just enough seats to lost the Congress. The Congress we had yesterday was better then the one we have coming today. This can't be undone. It will be a long couple years, and right now, I have no clue who the conservative GOP front runner is now that Allen is gone. And we can kiss goodbye a conservative Justice to replace Stevens. That's a dead duck thanks to voters not caring about things like Constitutional law.

The next two years should give enough time for the GOP to rebuild and retool, because the truth about the Dems will come out. 2008 should be very good for the GOP.

Almost.;-)

It was the war, pure and simple. Those conservative Democrats (Rush's term) who won ran, with the notable exception of the not-so-conservative Lieberman, as antiwar candidates.

I just heard Hemmer say n Fox News "The dems are saying since Bush was sure that he was going to win the election could he be wrong about Iraq"

well... the Media and the Dems were wrong in 2000 and 2004 could they be wrong about eveything?

Oh, ((((Mozie)))), I'm so happy for you, and isn't his coming home TODAY! perfect timing?!!!

Looking for some morsels of hope today myself w/listening to Rush. Two large crumbs: Presidential veto power and the will to use it plus Gridlock in Congress to stop disastrous changes in the laws.

After 2 years of higher taxes and lower support for our troops, surely American voters will see the error of yesterday's voting dems into power.

Is it me, or is Rush blaming Bush?

Blame? No.

Rush has said for years that Bush is running a party, not a conservative movement. Reagan ran a conservative movement that was the Republican party. I think Rush is just being realistic about the political circumstances.

I saw both sides and I still think it's beyond the pale to mock a disabled person. That is the bottom line. He gave Fox and the Dems the power, believe it.

Sorry, Rush, that dog won't hunt. Some very solid conservatives went down big time. Santorum. Blackwell, DeVos and otehrs. It's wasn't the lack of conservatismn. IT was problems with the top.

we did get rid of some RINO's, which is always good.

I do not like RINOs either. But a political party has people of many beliefs. I'm a Conservative. I want the GOP to be a Conservative party. But we have to accept folks who will vote for Our Guys to be the Leaders. It still takes 51 in the Senate and 218 in the House...
