I've been laid up the last 12+ hours with a stomach virus from hell and missed the whole election day show. I'm sipping cranberry juice and nibbling on toast and just trying to sit upright. I really have only one thing to say about the loss. To the Democrats....."Bring it!"
You won't see me sniveling and moaning about this political loss like THEY did during the past two elections. I have more self respect than that.
But if they think that they won because they have a better plan to keep us safe and for Iraq, I demand to see it. If they think they won because they aren't as corrupt? Prove it!
They may have won the election but they have one hell of a job ahead of them and I plan to do everything in my power to keep them on their toes and feeling the flames at their heels.
This is Nov. 2006. Life has changed quite a bit since they lost control of the House! I hope they are up to the task. LOL LOL LOL
No Republican legislation is going to be passed..EVER by this leftwing house.
Looks like you're looking for a party that doesn't exist, never has, never will. Want me to save you a spot in my cave?
He's right.
Could someone please explain to me why Bush can't or won't learn this lesson?
Because he worked very successfully with a Democrat Lt. Gov. in Texas and hoped it would be the model for how he could operate in DC.
It's just that DC operates with it's own rules and while the Dims are out there today, saying that they are going to work with the President in a Bi-partisan manner, they just don't know how to walk the talk.
I don't think that they can change their modus operandi after 6 years of bucking this President.
I'm hoping that the President has dusted off his VETO pen and uses it, quite liberally in the remaining 2 years of his Presidency.
Also, do you think that there are voters who voted for Democrats yesterday who woke up this Morning and are thinking, "Oh heck, I didn't think my rebellion vote for the other party would result in this landslide. I just wanted to scare the heck outta my Republican (Congress Critter, Governor) to get them to stop this profligate spending"????
Gridlock is good to them?
I am thinking that we might all need to just stick with FR for a while...no TV...not talk radio that isn't POSITIVE towards our side.
Well it is he show. Why don't you stop calling him by that name?
"Disgraceful" is indeed the word.
geez
There are plenty of people on here who have never accepted the concept that Bush isn't the president of JUST the extreme right wing of the GOP.
What you said.
I've been afraid to. Where does it stand? I can't look.
However, both the timing and the delivery of some truths has everything to do with taste.
WHO is this man's friend?? I love GWBush!! And will NOT go against him the way I am hearing now.
AMEN to that!!!!
Don't worry, Rapture will work all that out.
Good idea... I'll be using bela-pelosi.
Good he named Pence, a good start.
Well I've never cared for some clique wannabe looking down nose at me. They can bite me. That's so elementary school. :)
Thanks for the correction.
