Bush is dead wrong in thinking he can work with the RATS.

Could someone please explain to me why Bush can't or won't learn this lesson?

Because he worked very successfully with a Democrat Lt. Gov. in Texas and hoped it would be the model for how he could operate in DC.

It's just that DC operates with it's own rules and while the Dims are out there today, saying that they are going to work with the President in a Bi-partisan manner, they just don't know how to walk the talk.

I don't think that they can change their modus operandi after 6 years of bucking this President.

I'm hoping that the President has dusted off his VETO pen and uses it, quite liberally in the remaining 2 years of his Presidency.

Also, do you think that there are voters who voted for Democrats yesterday who woke up this Morning and are thinking, "Oh heck, I didn't think my rebellion vote for the other party would result in this landslide. I just wanted to scare the heck outta my Republican (Congress Critter, Governor) to get them to stop this profligate spending"????

There was also the 2000 election. Kind of close. Then there was Jim Jeffords.

Oh, I think there will be plenty of voter's remorse. It will take some time, but it will happen.

This is why we have to be ready to take advantage of this--This is why we need to clean house and get back to basic principles (the leadership).
