Well where as he been all these years? I think this is part of the reason we lost yesterday. Folks are to afraid to speak the truth. Well, except for on here.:)
LOL!!!
My B-day is 11-11. My wife has Friday off, so I will take some time with the Family. Enjoy your pizza and your movie, recharge, and we'll see ya after some R & R.
I almost bought into your pre-election optimism - it didn't pan out did it.
we have to be realists. there is no reason he couldn't stand up at this press conference and say "the american people have to realize that they have elected a congressional majority that has NO PLAN on what to do in iraq or in the war on terror". instead, he tosses Rumsfeld under the bus, and praises the Dems.
and its not "bashing" to point that out - what are we supposed to do, accept everything as being "OK" - just go along/get along.
It's an open forum, DC. People are going to comment on what you say.
My thought too. Is going to explain why he feels "liberated" after the newsbreak...
The Kennedy McCain Imigration Bill now passes the house. The United States of Mexico is your new homeland.
ah OK, I saw Freguson won, and was so glad, I was tired of hearing his stabner ,or what ever her name was ads...LOL
Ya make some good points to which I will add one of my own. I live in a totally blue area, and the GOP treats us like crap too! Now, if they aren't doing the right thing in GOP areas and their not doing the right thing in Dem areas, where the HE// is the money going?
I am so glad Rush is telling it like it is, not how he thinks we want it to be. Bush is not a conservative leader.
This is not a dump on Rush, but I wish like hell he hadn't gone off on the Michael Fox issue...it did not help.
"You people seem to think the Democrats are suddenly going to do everything up to rewriting the Constitution."
Exactly! Geez, I've seen the border-bots (aka paleocons) blamed, the neo-cons blamed, the evangelicals blamed, the libertarians blamed, and a cubic pantsload of sky-is-falling is heard from all quarters.
Please. We lost (IMO *because* we are fragmented, among a few other reasons) and in two years we have another chance to win with a fresh approach.
In the meantime Rummy is gone. I'm of mixed feelings about this. I salute Mr. Rumsfeld for a job well done but at the same time we cannot say that his direction has managed to quash the terrorist/insurgent effort in Iraq.
I can't decide either if the President ought to have made an announcement earlier. On the one hand I think many voters voted for Dims on the grounds that they were unhappy with the percieved situation over in Iraq and were being told that W was going to keep going on the present course - those people might have been moved by a change! On the other hand, lefty vitriol about Rummy is so strong that the MSM etc would have trumpeted about W 'recognizing failure' or some other BS.
Not happy about the new guy. I haven't done research on him but the short bios posted here make him sound like a Bush41 buddy ... and frankly I am not too impressed by Bush Sr.'s track record in the Middle East.
It was the Rush cam that was the real turnoff. Mimicking the disabled isn't nice.
They will sound "moderate" and vote left.
I'm getting ready to do that too!
Yep, give the rats an inch they'll scream for a mile. I hate dim's.
:) Sorry didn't mean to sound short with you, but I really want the conservative base to put our money where our mouth is, especially those who claim they were going to spank our pubs. Alright then, those that chose to do so better roll up their sleeves and help us get our party back to what it should be and they better not sit around and complain about the mess they put us in.!!! ANd that goes for the leaders of the party. If they sit back and let Pelosi and company rule the roost, then we the base better unite and stand up and be heard rather than complain. I want to know how do we get started. Where do we go from this point until 2008?
Yup. Media are pathetic.
