I always felt that Rush's talent was even greater before 1994... Before he became an almost establishment icon.

I think this may be liberating for him.

I think you may be right....sad....

I mean- here in GA- we got our first Republican Lt Governor-- etc.. we were all Republican all over the place....(save a few liberal spots....)

but because it is such a strong Republican area- the GOP treats us like crapt...LOL!

they actually think that the Republican elected incumbats don't have to bother showing up at debates ....they only need to attend GOP events... that's it.....

They just campaign with our tax money....they are alotted X amoubt of $$$$$ to "keep us informed"-- and all they do is save it all up for election time... suddenly then they need to send us "information" on all the good things they did.......

Don't get me wrong... I am thrilled to be in a conservative area and not a Liberal area.....

but-- the GOP just keeps marching left.....I don't understand it....especially when they are just so callous to their own people.....

As much as I am trying to do the opposite, I'm getting more depressed by the minute.

I think I'll have to go out and buy myself something after work. Retail therapy.

All of this loser talk is just par for the corse.

I remember it in 1992, 1996, and 1998.

Everyone will go around blaming everyone else. They will demand everyone resigns, and they will get depressed and drop out. Next year they will be back and fighting the left with the same energy they had before the election.

The funny thing is that they never see it the day after the election.

After the '04 election, I believe it was Pat Robertson who said God had given America a reprieve our country did not deserve. I think God has finally decided enough is enough, now we will reap what we sow.

As a soon-to-be-father (first baby due in April), I shudder to think what kind of country my child will grow up in.

I am curious when the next terrorist attack occurs against the Eastern Socialist Empire of New York and the District of Columbia what will be the reaction of the Mid Western conservative states. For my part I will think long and hard before I would give them any help.

Yes I just need a break 48 hours, no sleep, and a back hand is just too much. I need a pizza, some sangria, a movie, and sleep. I'm by God going to enjoy SOME of my vacation time I took. And my D-day was Monday. Oh joy happy B-day tome. Wish I was born in October. I hate having it around election time. Oh well. See you later. :)

I agree with Rush and his view of Clinton's last two years of his term.

I see this as Custer's Last Stand:

Custer sees the indians surrounding him and decides to surrender himself and agree to all terms of surrender. The troops are left to fend for themselves. Custer goes down in history with his reputation as a uniter intact.

Unfortunately a lot of us are venting about yesterday, but I think we need to rally around the President. Our President and our troops need us now more than ever! Criticism of our President and the GOP, unless it's done constructively and with our future in mind, is pointless and something only DU would be proud of.

We have rallied around Bush for 6 years. A little criticism of his PC attitude may be a bit in order. DU has nothing to do with it, As for me, I have to respect someone to care what they think, and I sure do not respect any DUer

We are not crying in the streets and checking ourselves in to mental hospitals, for sure.

We simply can not ignore exploring every reason about this loss, including any brought on through Bush policy, lack of policy, political correctness, etc.

I do not want to elect another really great guy for President, only to have him "dining with the dems" when it is more important to "bond with his base".

I think you are confusing niceness with meekness. A lot of frustrated freepers wants him to lash out, but I don't think that would have been productive.

They won't please everyone. So the Rats better enjoy the next twenty-four months, cuz that's all their bogus conservatives and moderates are gonna last.

Those freshman dems from red districts and states are gonna be told to ..ck off when they tell the Clinton, Pelosi and Reid crowd that they have to deliver conservative-leaning bills (etc.) for em'.

In short, the moonbats are screwed come 2008.

I'm not saying give me marching orders.....I just want to know how do we ensure the party moves in the right direction rather than rolling over and playing dead. Just want suggestions, jeeze.

Like I said, my senators and reps. listen to what they're electorates say, unfortunately others don't.
