Subtle gong alert, scrolled on the bottom of the screen.
No, Rumsfeld was the No Bullsh*t guy. Porter Goss was a no bullsh*t guy.
If you asked Rummy what he thought he'd tell you what he thought or he'd tell you it wan't your business. He wouldn't tell you something to go along to get along. He was honest to a fault, he was honest about North Korea years ago when the Clintons were feeding us their bull about their "successful" policies there.
Bush on the other hand would tell you that Islam is the Religion of Peace knowing full well what a load that is. He may have had to say it to maintain the peace in this country, but he didn't have to say it so ... much.
My nephew just went to Iraq and we're all sick over this surrender. He'll be fighting abroad as we surrender at home, just like my brother did in the 90s.
It's beginning to smell like Beirut and Somalia all over again. And until someone grows a set we are going to see a nuclear Iran and Syria too.
And CAIR [and their terrorist backers like Hamas] are still getting to pick our military chaplains because of this admin's policy of not fighting politically at home. Now we get to have a CAIR frontman in Congress - and if he wasn't a junior I wouldn't be surprised if the Dems put him on the Intel Committee.
Way to go America.
About the PIC, everyone is welcome to use it, change it, whatever! :)
Exactly when has the MSM ever cared about looking like hypocrites for backing the Democrats?
George Allen..pre-macca
I think your right.. wishful thinking is just that.
There are as many piranhas on this thread as in that damned press conference!
He is attacking us DIRECTLY on immigration now, folks!
Impeach him.
Karl apparently believed he had a "weather" machine and was a magnificent bastard...
Pathetic! [...and I am NOT talking about W!]
Who cares?
Now, a pathetically illogical response.
I was thinking the same last night. Let them be RESPONSIBLE for all the screw ups for the next two years.
All I can say to my Dem friends and family is sometimes getting what you wish for can backfire on ya'.
EXACTLY! This way if they screw up the American people can only BLAME THEM!
I agree with much of what you said, but Clinton didn't have gasoline prices ratcheting up to over $3 a gallon. Bush did, and the media made hay over it.
If the Dems go after impeachment at the expense of dealing with more pressing issues on behalf of the American people... they will lose in 2008.
Bigtime.
I think this whole rove rating nonsense did the gop no good.
He's one man.
I don't doubt he is a clever and successful 'bastard', but how much can you really pin solely on him? America is an enormous country, with thousands of individual campaigns managed and orchestrated by thousands of different people, not one man by the presidents side.
The gop in 00 and 04 knew how to motivate the base by selection a few issues and pounding them.
The WOT?
What strategist wouldn't have used it? How could the GOP have ever lost on it back then?
Gay marriage etc?
How else are you going to motivate the base?
As much I rate people like hannity, he can't stop bigging the guy up. It gets tiresome.
Rove is not a popular figure, in fact most people associate people with extremely dirty campaigning. He added to the negative image of the GOP.
I don't believe he is the source of either republican victories or defeat.
At the end of the day, sometimes no matter what you do your going to win, and sadly for us, at this sort of time there isn't much you can do to stop a defeat.
Bumping your comment. It makes sense. People don't like to see their team infighting.
