Bush jokes about Republican interior decorators for Pelosi's new drapes.
Has he figured out he will be on trial next year?
To: oceanview
it doesn't sound like white house press is wanting to laugh at his jokes.

I don't care if Rumsfeld offered his resignation. You think he'd do this w/o Bush's encouragement. OH this is JUST SO SAD!! I cannot stop crying. Our leader is failing us, and backing down in the wake of yesterday's elections!!!!!

Maybe a new defense chief will be positive. Oh, please. Bush is an idiot.

I bet you Pelosi said to him at lunch that she won't bring up impeachment. I don't think he is worried.

Bush jokes about Republican interior decorators for Pelosi's new drapes. Has he figured out he will be on trial next year? He is as dumb as a brick.
To: areafiftyone
99% of the people who bring up impeachment don't seem to get one major fact.
The Democrats do not have the votes in the Senate for conviction. They're not even close.

One positive is that he can now be on the offensive, instead of always being on the defense.

I'm not saying you are wrong - I'm just saying our present policy isn't exactly a smashing success. Let's give this our support. Whining won't change the outcome - Rummy is gone and we need to support our troops and support his replacement.

Bush Thinks it is necessary for a change?????? OH COME ON PRESIDENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Remember, Rumsfeld has offered his resignation a couple of times already, at various times in the past 5 years. Bush never accepted them. I think this time he did.
