the numbers DID flip within a minute ... it was 49.44 for Allen and 49.35 for Webb, then they reversed EXACTLY. That's the way those things work for the DemoncRATs ... they know exactly how many votes they need and - voila!
To: Cosmo
see post 40, arborath apparently does. Allen will be like Harold Stassen if he doesn't go away gracefully.

Virgina is no longer in the "south". Look at the last two Governors they have elected.
Might as well call it part of Washington D.C.
To: Williams
Absentees will be tossed out. That is the Democrat way.

If Allen's down and out, how about Lieberman for SecDef.
Jodi Rell appoints a GOP replacement.

Not all the absentee ballots have been counted and it looks like Louden County still didn't get all their votes counted.
Come on George!

No it did not. You can fantasize about it all you want, but the novel had zero effect on the race. If he lost votes because of that, those were never his votes to begin with.

Yes.
Virginia does a damn good count. Last year, a recount only changed the count by 27 votes out of 2 million for Attorney General.
