If we hold the Senate (and it's going to be TIGHT, Allen's in the fight of his life right now) then we can mitigate this damage.
The important lesson for the Republicans to take away from this is very simple. FIGHT. Don't try to be "less liberal." Run conservatives. Stick to your beliefs. Don't let the Democrats define the issues. Push back, and push hard, against the lies of the media. Fight.

The GOP won't learn anything. They'll be the same old party, and will probably believe they lost because they weren't liberal enough.
