Please Mods can we have one central Live thread ...its tough jumping from thread to thread to get results.
I had TABOR [taxpayer bill of rights) which lost in the highest taxed state in the country with population ranking #39. That was most important to many of us.
Snowe remains with an easy win.
Become? Where ya' been? He's been one since at least 2000. Did you catch his act on election night 2000? Disgraceful.
Get ready for "The Killing Fields - Part II"
I have no idea.
Right. This coming from mister "screw the Constitution I want lying campaign reform" a-hole.
my money is on Rudy...
Yep.
Discussed this earlier. Steven will need replaced ASAP.
Dems won't be able to block Janice Rogers Brown. Still get a conservative judge.
The ID I responded to referred to them as "Christian SOCIALIST idiots". I left out the 'socialist' part, as I did not agree.
Hope this helps.
You'll vote for McCain because McCain can stop a total GOP meltdown in 2008.
You got that right. "Bring home the troops" will be the BIG message on the freaking Sunday talk shows.
It's certainly been rejected by meand thank you for your posts in this thread, as I agree with every word you've said.
We will see.
New Mexico, Wilson (R) who was down down 8% in the polls and rated "leans Dem takeover" is very slightly ahead. I believe New Mexico is an absentee count-later state.
94% in
Patricia Madrid (D) 94,213 50%
Heather Wilson, incumbent (R) 93,422 50%
I try too. :-)
McCain (boo, hiss, yeah, yeah, get it out of your systems) was just on FOX talking about the Republicans forgetting about fiscal responsibility...hopefully this will be the beginning of the end of creeps like Santorum in office and the return of real, Reagan/Goldwater conservatives.
Good heavens.
Did you watch the Clarence Thomas hearings?!
Yep, there are a lot of reasons for these losses, but at the top has to be the Bush Admin, the RNC, and Karl Rove continually letting the media roll them and define most issues. Pathetic. Tony Snow was a great addition, but far, far from all that was needed.
Thank goodness that someone else will lead us in the next election cycle, probably Rudy. He knows both how to communication and when to fight.
I'll believe that when he does that
