Boycott FNC! They aren't worth watching.

Foley lost. Great idea not exposing him as a homo 16 year old kid lover months ago, Republican leadership!

The way the dims complained about electronic fraud before the election, my guess is they figured out how to do it and were whining to cover their tracks.
You know, the one who dealt it smelt it.

Good grief.
Just checked my state results and dear ole Alabama has
apparently elected Ole Big Jim Folsom (D) as Lt. Guv.
Well, I never.

I think it is libertarians who are normally Republican that voted against such. It is now 48-52. I doubt the Hispanic immigrants made a difference there (if anything, they may have given it a fighting chance).
I still think it could come out on top. Did it also ban civil unions and domestic partnerships?

Well I can't take any more of this .. I'm off to bed
And will say some prayers ... because the next 2 year with a Dem controlled Congress will make the Clinton 8 year nightmare look like a picnic in the park

Santorum was conservative, and he went down in flames.

I think you may be right! A recount is going to be done, however. It is that close!

We can certainly hope that Pelosi will have competition for Speaker I'll take it one step further. We just might possibly see a remarkable scenario unfold similar to what happened in California a few years ago -- in which Republican members of the House unanimously agree to join a few Democrats to support a conservative Democrat in the House leadership race.

Ditto that. (Ronnie Earle burning in hell.)Forget about him. Which stupid faction of this corrupt "Two-Party Cartel" made it that one must step down if indicted??? Yep you guess it. The compassionate conservative one.

The plan is we keep the Senate (for the judges ya know) and sacrifice the House. Hopfully the Rats will do all sorts of stupid things in the next two years. So then whomever we run for President will win and we'll also take back the house!) Got it? RYMB!!!!!!! SHHHH!

This country is dumbing down on so many levels. Too-smart-by-half comes to mind.
So many people wanted to teach the GOP a lesson (from the left and right) about illegal invasion.
And yet, everyone has let the brownshirt training camps of our local, "independent" school districts just waltz along.
THAT is what will devour us from within.
It will be like Taiwan. Gradual, peaceful reunification.

"The sun will come up tomorrow, the elections will be discussed around the water cooler, the world will go on. The nation will debate our future, etc. the system will remain intact. The only thing I ever fear is that the machine of democracy will break -- but for now the machine seems to be in good working order."
Well said. Lets not forget this is a midterm election for the last 2 years of a lame duck president. This will give us a chance to take a step back and refine our positions, get new and better candidates for '08, resolve our internal disagreement and sit back and let the Dems screw up in Congress with the spot light on them; which they undoubtedly will--there's no way they can restrain their crazed liberalism, not with Pelosi in charge and that will NOT fly with Americans. Also their majority will be so small that they won't be able to get anything done.
We got fat and happy in the last couple years. We didn't have to stay in shape. So we lost. Well we'll train the next 2 years, get back into fighting shape, and come back stronger than ever. have faith. In the short run we may have slightly lost one election. In the long run we will win be we are right. Never forget that fact and never doubt it.

Tonight should put an end to the "If the GOP would just run a real conservative, we'd win every time" rant, shouldn't it?
