Please Mods can we have one central Live thread ...its tough jumping from thread to thread to get results.
And don't forget his last minute, luke warm support for border control. The country wants the border shut and the illegal aliens deported! And what was Bush talking about all the time -- his "guest worker program" and eventual citizenship for millions of these gate crashers who America doesn't want within our borders. President Bush does not seem to under the message that Amercans are sending him: "We don't want our country looking like Mexico and we will not tolerate any other language except English as our national tongue." Deport them!
Sorry.

This should have been the theme all along. The Dems voted to end the wiretaps and opposed the financial monitoring. They want to pull out of Iraq. They opposed our interrogation techniques. They want domestic trials for terrorists. They want trials that would force the US to release classified information to these terrorists for their trials! They vote against every new weapons system. As bad as Bush was on immigration, they are far worse. Now you tell me... who in the hell are they siding with????
Me too! Jeeez!

Because it was a choice between Leiberman and Lamont. A no brainer.
It's all good - don't fret over millionaires becoming unemployed.
Actually, as has been made clear by several of those types on this very thread, they are not going to think twice or do any kind of introspective analysis, but instead are going to blame us for the loss, despite the fact that we came out to vote. It is the moderates who are responsible for tonight's loss. Hopefully, our Party will realize that and make the smart decision on where to go from here. Unfortunately, there are a lot of wishy-washy, country clubbers in the high ranks of our party.
Do we have the Fighting Hatch Family now as our 1st family?
Klobuchar...yikes. I guess you gotta put one dithering idiot in for another up here (Dayton).
The sun will come up tomorrow.
whatever Acorn says it is.
And pray tell why should they show up and vote for a party that has no real policy on illegal immigration. A party whose leader has been a cheerleader for illegal immigrants for 6 years has a hard time persuading anyone that it really opposes illegal immigration
Has De Wine conceded?
Dam, Webb closing in. Allen still will win.
