"Please, no more attempts to build "Islamic democracies" ever again."
Kemal Attaturk had the only approach to that that has worked to date.
By ruthlessly keeping the Islamic portion out by force. State doesn't understand that at all.

There's a Freeper here somewhere who uses the tagline "Fight like WW2, end like WW2. Fight like Nam, end like Nam." I hate to say it, but I believe that will be the judgment on President Bush.
I believe you will see a major offensive commence within the next week or two in Iraq.

Thanks. I could have gone and looked it up but I just don't have the heart. Can you imagine how our boys and girls in uniform feel?

Olberman and Matthews aren't experts in elections.
In fact, I don't know what they might be experts in.

If we lose, we lost because our message didn't get out to the masses. Plain and simple. Lack of a message was a big problem.
IMO, a huge problem was that the Dems convinced too many that there is an easy way to fight the WOT, including Iraq. Many are tired of the war and are looking for an easy way out.

I know. I voted for Liberman. In the other post, I was speaking generally..not about Menendez, or Allen returns etc.
BTW Lamont is currently on the mic, conceding to Liberman

Oceanview, this illegal immigration has been a problem since day one. When did they take action on it? In the last three months when it became appearant that the base was angry as hell? That was a monumental mitake IMO. Did it cost us? I have no way of knowing, but I suspect it added to some other perceptions and could have. Whatever...
