Please Mods can we have one central Live thread ...its tough jumping from thread to thread to get results.
Who?
Has it been announced who the new GOP Senate leader will be (regardless of the outcome tonight)?
Yep.
I've seen Fox do this a few times and I just don't understand.
Well, I agree. However I call tit for tat, the GOP didn't come through for Ohio either, they gave us Voinabitch, DeWhiner, Daft and "Nay".
So I say we are even now.
For what it's worth, I project Democrats will be very unhappy tomorrow.
Where is Lazmataz ?
Yep

They have to take a hard left or they lose their base in 2008.
This is 1992 all over again, isn't it?
Clinton, gays in the military, Barbra Streisand, and then BAM! Republicans NEWTED his a$$ in 1994.
It's going to be McCain or Giuliani, not Romney in 2008

I'm surprised to see you on this thread; didn't you say it was a bad idea?
No.
What's he going to veto? You think he's going to veto an entire appropriations bill?
Taft and the old school republicans in Ohio are to blame.
They put the knife in Blackwell's back-- no question.
Voinovich and Taft are worthless.
They just came back on from commercial, now they are in the office.
Ehrlich still leads as does Steele... I'm thinking this is garbage.
Wisconsin referndums are looking good. Yes to death penalty (only advisory) and no to same sex marriage.
