SHERROD BROWN is speaking on WTVN and giving an acceptance speech. However I have not heard an announcement about DeWine conceding.

BARONE on Fox just denounced exit polling and says Fox
WILL NO LONGER USE IT!
Says it is 6-8% inaccurate.
Chocola is down with 83% in: FNC.
Northup done at 100% 51-48.

When do they factor in early and absentee votes, which I understand, account for a far greater number this year than they have in the past?Depends on the state.
In New York, they only counted the absentee ballots if the race was close and the margin of victory was smaller than the number of said absentee ballots.
I don't know how they do it in states with "early voting".
To: Dog
Fox just announced that it is no longer using the exit polls because they are showing a 6% to 8% bias to the Dems.

"Melhman is already sucking up to the Dems"
I've never liked Ken.
He's the poster child of the liberal wing of the party. Of course he'd welcome his new Democrat overlords. ;)

And totally predictable. You're correct. I just expect more, since the fat lady isn't even warming up yet. I hear she lives in Alaska.

Seriously, get a grip. The night is still young.

"Cardin is trailing Steele 44% to 55% with just 1% of precints in, and Fox just called Cardin the winner too."Maybe those precincts last time went 70% GOP. That would point to a Steele loss. Not that I trust these numbers entirely, I want to see more, as well.

WE ARE FINISHED AS A COUNTRY-THE DUMBEST CITIZENS IN THE WORLD JUST VOTED OUR DEFEAT BY THE FASCISTS AND A GLOBAL ECONOMIC DEPRESSION Please. We survived the peanut farmer from Georgia; we'll survive this, too. Remember, without Carter, there would have been no Reagan.

It is really bad according to EXIT POLLING. I am still keeping my fingers crossed that they just might be wrong.

If Allen goes down (and it does not look good, with lots of Dem districts yet to come in), it is hard to imagine Talent holding - he barely won in easier years.
Maybe GOTV effort produces a surprise in Montana...
To: oceanview
Yep...
It's over. They might hold onto the Senate, but they won't be picking any seats up.
To: FlipWilson
Woah! Fox is backing off calling based on the exit polls - 6 point or more Dim bias.
Did I hear that right?
Whuda thunk it?

Webb has to win 52.95% of the remaining 19.18% of precincts to tie Allen.
I hope all you idiots who stayed home to teach the R's a lesson are happy tonight.

t's a nice departure from the election discussion. I'm tired of it so I'm watching a special on volcanoes on History Channel.Thanks... :) I LOVE the History Channel, and Discovery too. With my weird anxiety problems, how can my favorite show be "A Haunting" or "Blueprint for Disaster"? LOL! I love cable tv. :)
I may check in later here for results, but for now, 'night cyborg and hubby. :)
