Dubya won!
ib4z...oh, wait...
BTTT
LOL!!!
For the Florida Panhandle (on CST) the polls close at 7:00PM Central Standard Time....unlike the other states on your list that close at 7:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (one hour earlier)
Polls in Florida close at 8, please remove it from the list, unless no one cares about the panhandle.
Too many topics! Nooooooo!
::explodes::
The Panhandle closes at 8!
Dan Rather having a meltdown on Comedy Central.
Well, Illinois may not be on the thread title but I have to share what is happening in Chicago/Cook County.
We are seeing an unprecedented GOP turnout here. I have made it my business to talk to a dozen captains at several polling places and the general consensus is we are fed up here so...
Look for Topinka to be Governor...buh buh Blago
And for the first Republican Cook County Board President in 40 years, my first in 35 years of voting! So the Stroger name and all the Daley bigwigs turning out for Todd this AM won't do squat!
Go GOP!!!
I thought we already had a live thread?? Which one is it?
A simple rule of thumb for watching Florida election returns -
The northern, more Republican areas of Florida always report earlier than South Florida, which is heavily Dim. If the early returns show Republican candidates up with about 60 percent of the vote, it should be a very good night for the GOP. If they only get up to about 55 percent or so in the early returns, it's starting to become squeaker territory. Anything much below 55 percent, Republicans are in trouble.
There's nothing scientific about any of this -it's just based on my observations of previous elections.
Okay...bumping THIS election thread also.
7:00 PM Where?
Not much going on in Georgia. Sonny Purdue should coast. Casey Cagel should ride his coat tails.
The biggest races in Georgia are GA8 and GA12 both have dem incumbents that are on track to lose their seats.
GA8: Collins(R) vrs Marshall (D)

Early eyewitness reports confirm numerous strippers at the polls!

lets keep the posts in one thread
FWIW, the turnout in our town here in Vermont was very high, and mostly Democrat as usual. But we had some local issues that may be bringing people out.
Still, I think the Dems are pumped up and angry. So we just have to hope that the Republicans are MORE pumped up and angry.
