I thought Indiana was in two times zones. What am I missing?

That is correct. For the Senate race, that will mean little as Lugar should win by an enormous landslide (there is no Democrat running, only a Libertarian opponent) and should be decided early. For the House, that means something.

It is, the extreme northwest and southwest corners are in Central Time zone.

It is split between central and eastern. Central has 1st CD (Visclosky), 8CD (Evansville/Hosetettler) and a part of the 2nd (Laporte Starke, Marshall Co- Chocola)

We usually hear what is happening downstate before we close in central time at 6PM-
