IN, OH and KY Election Results Here!
Good Heavens---get a grip!
I think Blackwell has lost primarily because of the ineptness of Bob Taft. I have a Blackwell sign in my yard but have family members that wouldn't back him. At least I managed to keep my mom home today!
Ohio is slow on the economic recovery and they are blaming the President. Even though a lot of it has to do with Taft, who in my opinion, is not a good representative of Republicans. A lot of it has to do with RAT local governments in Northeast Ohio as well. But it is easy here to only see politics on a national level and blame Bush for the whole shootin match.
It's Ed Schrock's old seat. I'm praying we hold onto it!
Now they have Chocola way down with about a quarter of the results.
Agreed. I hate to see it go down badly for us, though. We'll just see.
We should consider ourselves lucky to have GWB as president since he did what he thought was right in Iraq and has never flinched, even at the cost of his own popularity. If it costs the GOP control of Congress, so be it.
Exit polls are going to be ludicrously skewed Democratic. Don't even think "exit poll."
(And let's hold to Jim Robinson's rule.)
I agree with you!. BTW, have you opened that bottle of wine yet. ;) If not, I'll share my Ravenswood Zin with you.
Yahoo has a good map, they are about 15 minutes behind on updates though it seems.
MAJOR OUCH! Chocola is now down 59-41%. Come on Northern Indiana, get your act together!!!!!!!!!
I don't even want to think what losing that seat could mean. She is in a military district and she should be easily winning that district. Hopefully the early numbers are from the blue areas.
Chocola in the two counties in, running way behind last time. He is down about 10% (a 20 point swing), and he can afford only a 9% swing. Granted only two small counties, but both have close to the same swing. Lean Dem. If it holds, Chocola loses by 8%-10%. So far, well - a wave, except for KY-3. I guess it is time to look Ohio. Someone has to do it. :(
Hill is ahead by less than 100 in his own county. When Lee H ran he could count on a 2:1 ratio and he wasn't even from here.
You are kidding, right?
I think Taft deserves a lot of the blame. He's a poor example of a Republican. He made it too easy for the bastard Dims.
Lots of DU trolls here, doing the fake wringing of hands thing. The early results are not showing a blue tidal wave. Northrup will win and besides some Ohio seats the Repubs look pretty good right now, maybe lose a net 10 seats and the Senate looks to be a wipeout dissappointment for the Dems
