You bet, in this blue state we need all the help we can get. Very political here, people line up on major streets holding up candidates signs and waving to drivers. Never seen anything like this in Calif.

Almost all of the votes currently reported so far in the Hostettler (IN-08) race are from Vigo county (Terre Haute). Vigo went heavily to the democrat last time, but not nearly as heavily as it has this time (so far).

IN-8 was not unexpected anyway. IIRC, that was one of the less Bush-friendly areas in 2004 (likely on economic issues).

My husband was mad at Fox News as soon as it was turned on this evening (about 5 minutes ago). I told him not to bother anyway, that I'd be on Free Republic.

So here I am, with the exception of leaving once in awhile to watch dinner cook.

You can't swing a dead cat in Terre Haute without hitting a democrat. Many there don't even know there is a Republican party.
