What's wrong with the Florida GOP that they could not nominate a proper candidate?

Katherine Harris won the primary fair and square. If their was a "proper" candidate, he/she should have run in the primary. The real reason is that no one wanted to run against an incumbent.

He also said to take it with a huge grain of salt. I'm not ready to worry. We've been through this.

How many people are really going to be honest for exit polls in the first place. I'd probably just tell them that I voted Rat for the heck of it anyways.

Oh, I understand that the info Wallace is using is probably bogus, especially in light of all the early and absentee voting... I'm just sayin' what I see him doing...

FoxNews says polls close in these states at 7PM EST, not 6PM EST. No results yet, folks.

Talk to freepers like Extremely Extreme Extremist.

They are essentially the R equivilants of Deaniacs, and will listen to absolutely nobody about electablity, and they LOVE Harris.

It was THOUGHT that too many people thought like they did, and would nominate Harris nomatter what, and so nobody else of stature bothered to run.

When the dust settled, that assessment was incorrect. Harris only got 48% of the primary vote against 3 total nobodies. Any candidate of stature could have likely beaten her.

But alas, that's passed. :sigh: we might lose her House seat too. And she isn't exactly helping Negron or Shaw.

Those poor buggers in California might as well go back to sleep, because it's over by the time it gets there.

In 2000, I was on a plane from Wash DC to LA on election day... when I got off the plane I heard that Bush had lost Pennsylvania and Florida, making it virtually impossible for him to win... but I still voted - and guess what... Bush won.

In 2004, I was planning on voting on my lunch hour and tuned into the news on my car radio to hear that all the exit polls were showing a Kerry landslide... but I still voted - and guess what... Bush won.

Californian's... get out there and vote... and don't listen to the carp that comes from the MSM today.

the longer the wait, the better. early negative calls could affect Pombo and other GOP House seats on the west coast.

Wallace or any of these media shills should not say one single word about exit polls until ALL the voting in the US is done. It should be a law as it influences the election unfairly.

Remember--ALL the news porgrams have is exit polls, they are NOT actual votes, but they have nothing to talk about with the exit polls, so we have to suffer until the results actually come in. Also, if you heard him from the beginning, Chris Wallace said to take the polls with a grain of salt.

Always vote... No matter where you are and who's winning or losing. It's your right and lots of people have given their lives for it. Don't waste it.

Hugh Hewitt sez:

I am hearing it is in shambles --doesn't pass the laugh test. Heh. March on out and vote.

Sounds about right. If you're tempted to *believe* the exit polls, remember that this election will set records for absentee and early voting.
