I think Davis is headed to victory in KY-4. I am not ready to call it yet, but I am getting there.

Lots of DU trolls here, doing the fake wringing of hands thing. Yeah, definitely...also, bemoaning the short stick we got out backing the war and other such foolishness. Jeez!

Per Hugh -- Crist is ahead by 100,000 votes but the exit polls had him losing. Go figger.

We all know those exit polls are reliable, fair, and dead on.
</sarcasm>
Why even have those stupid exit polls in the first place? Sheesh!
To: AntiGuv; Sam Spade
Time to call the first CD in play for a Pubbie. Davis in KY-4 wins.

I think Allen was down about 5% in the crappy exit polls, and now the Allen-Webb race looks like a nail-biter. So if you project across the country, that's a bias against Republicans in the exit polls of at least 5 points.

Independents seem to be breaking against us by a slight margin in some of these tight congressional races. Long night ahead.

I'm inclined to agree on KY-04 but I have no idea where the votes are reporting from, so my agreement would be frivolous and meaningless. :)
A novice would think Taylor (R) is in good shape, since he's leading 51% to 49%, but most of the votes are from our local GOP bastion of Henderson County where Taylor leads only 52% to 48%, meaning he's getting slaughtered. Henderson County is supposed to be 2 to 1 GOP.

Yep. He was running ahead of some of the numbers in the rural counties vis a vis 2002 last time I checked.

We're right here about 5 miles from the Barren/Warren County line, what's known as "Lower Smiths Grove"! :-)
