Saddam gets Death - Justice Prevails, but

The killings he is being put to death for happened back in the early 80's when he was our man in the region. But no one seemed to be very concerned about it back then. In fact, we thought he was such a good guy that Don Rumsfeld flew over there to shake his hand.

So what changed? Oh I get it, now that we are officially a Christian I guess we must just be more moral these days. Yeah, that's it.

12. Well we're all stuck on stupid tonight
They're stupid, no question. But apologizing for Saddam is stupid too. The man murdered people. He's guilty. I don't like the death penalty, but that's the sentence. End of story. I don't know why DUers go to the mat for people like Saddam Hussein.

15. True...especially in the way they exonerate Bush.
That was my main intent in posting...to show how the proud little freeps bristle at the suggestion that our beloved leader might have a few things to answer for as well. I don't think I've seen any "Saddam support" sentiment here.

Why post cr@p comparing Bush to Saddam when you know the right just uses it to inflame their base?

I used all in the sense of both sites, not any given person. There are people who go out of their way to defend Saddam and the charges against him, and it just seems stupid to me. Let's give them ammunition to prove we're exactly what they say we are, 2 days before an election. Over Saddam Hussein. Just stupid. But whatever - like I said - I'll just use hide thread. It's easier that way.
