UPDATE: Reader David Ward writes:
Thank you for your great work and especially the coverage of the picture of the soldiers mocking "Jon Carry."
My daughter is on the far right in the picture. We spoke to her last night and again this morning. They are quite astounded at the coverage. They were furious at Kerry's remarks and wanted to do something. I guess they did.
Yours truly,
David Ward
I heard some RAT on some MSM show say the photo "appeared" to be of soldiers, possibly in Iraq.
I'm with this dad and with his daughter and all of our wonderful brave, honest, and brilliant members of our military! I am so proud of them and sooooo grateful to them!

For a leftie, Chemistry and biology don't count.
Is she had credits in underwater basket weaving or appreciation of piss jar art or sociology of homeless it would be a different thing.
Excellent
'RATs disgust me. "Appeared"? Bet the 'Rat thinks the Twin Towers came down by missile, as well.
Outstanding! I am so proud of the men and women we have serving today. This will go down as one of my favorite pictures and kudo's to the group that made the banner.
Ditto!
Of course, some of the DUmmies are also claiming that the photo is a fake.
Actually, there are a number of these photos that have been changed - most by blatantly whiting out the sign and replacing the words with a "perfect" computer-generated font.
But the "HALP US JON CARRY" original is authentic.
I always worry that the talented photoshoppers we have may someday do damage to our credibility when they create something so real, so convincing that we mistake it for authentic.
perhaps they should "sign" their work?
Oh well... Have a great day!
Call me crazy...
Yeah, the ones who feel, like Kerry, that our soldiers are too dumb to be clever.
Nice job tgsl, I heard it on the radio, but glad someone had enough foresight to record it and make it available to the masses! I recommend all Freepers take a listen, these are the people who do our country proud.
"Flags of our Sons and Daughters"
"piss jar art"
Ha!
Perfect!
He must have been on Jenny Craig before he went to Iraq.
It wasn't done in Iraq, it was done on LBJ's ranch. Look to the right and you can see the tree from the background of the lunar landing.

If what I just wrote made you sad or angry,
it was probably just a joke.
