One thing that needs to happen with the fallout of Senator Kerry's remarks against our Military Personnel is for the Senate Leadership to Strip him of his position on the Armed Forces Committee. It is unconscienable that someone who made these remarks is allowed to be anywhere near Military Decision making and we need to send Senator Frist and all our Senators a message to remove him from this committee.
Excellent point!
Keith Olberman will be pouring on the man-to-man love tonight, and probably post the address for donations to "Kerry in '08".
I think this at the very least is appropriate.
what is caseys, webbs, fords etc stance on this? The Repubs should be asking loud and frequently!!!
Nah, keep 'em front and center...true colors and all....
You mean all those Republican leaders that have shown so much backbone over the years?
Don't count on it.
Absolutely!
amen.
Frist is a lame duck. Harry Reid the the one who could remove him from the committee, but I'm not holding my breath. This will have reverberations far into the future. Every time Kerry speaks at a committee hearing, or asks a question, people will be looking for him to stick is other foot in his mouth.
Kerry's not on the Armed Services Committee
EVERYONE should crank the handle.

I can think of several other things J.F. Kerry ought to be removed from but will refrain from posting them here.
I think it's appropriate and would be easier to achieve than a resignation from the Senate. Why should such a military hater be on that committee anyway?
follow up: Dems on the Armed Services Committee:
Levin, Kennedy, Byrd, Lieberman, Reed, Akaka, Nelson, Nelson, Dayton, Bayh, Clinton.
Kerry is on Finance, Small Business, Commerce Science and Transportation, and Foreign Relations
WTF is a Keith Olberman?

We need to find out how a traitor to this country got onto the committee in the first place.
Nice catch. He is on foreign relations, one of the least signifcant committees they have going. By the way, his website has narry a mention of the Iraq comments.
