DES MOINES, Iowa A Democratic Congressional candidate from Iowa is canceling a campaign event later this week with Senator John Kerry.
Brucy Braley says Kerry's recent comments about the Iraq war were inappropriate. Braley's decision to distance himself from Kerry came as a furor grew from comments Kerry made about the Iraq War during a campaign stop in California on Monday.

Just so we are clear.
Kerry's comments that our military was dumb and that is why they are serving is unacceptable, but accusing them of mimicing Genghis Khan and terrorizing women and children was acceptable?
I just want to be clear on the Democrats' position here, since his prior bash the troops statements didn't seem to make him a pariah to these politicians wishing his help.

I have a funny feeling that the ranks of the sit-at-homes have shrunk in the last 24 hours. It was a vile slap to the face of a lot of military men and women and their families - a lot of conservatives to PO.

Kerry's press conference was a beautiful thing to watch - a ray of sunshine among the clouds. The guy lies like a rug.

At the end of this story I love the last line,,,,
"Kerry refused to apologize."
Now that says it all. They do not embellish like all the other MSM running cover for him by saying ....Kerry said he would not apologize for criticizing the Bush plan...blah blah blah...
To: prov1813man
thats the plan... rove thinks many levels deep ;)
layers upon layers... we have a week left.
