Happy Halloween to us all! Kerry has truly fired a muskie today. For you young ones, Ed Muskie was believed to have a good shot at the presidential nomination some years back, until he got emotional and appeared to be crying in public.
Muskie was seen to be on a jag and suddenly his chances evaporated.

Today was Kerry's Muskie moment. We must regard it with mixed emotions, because he'd have been a swell choice for the 2008 nomination. But Traitor Bunny the Gigolo is now out there with Howard Dean in neverland.

Still---he could hardly have picked a better day, one week before the election.

MSM talking heads look like they're at a wake. Wolfe Blitzer is deeply saddened. Andrea Koppel looks like she just chug-a-lugged a whole bottle of white wine.

It's going to take a hell of a lot more than a few phony polls and some commercials with Michael J. Fox jitterbugging all over the screen for the DBM to fill in the hole Kerry just made in their plans to run the GOP out of Washington next week. And they know it.

Oh, believe me, I couldn't care less about the order of the words -- Kerry is pure filth, period. I'm just hoping that the AP has distorted it for 2 reasons -- 1. it is always good when they get caught doing that, and 2. if they haven't distorted, I'm a bit saddened that Kerry might have a little wiggle room to "clarify" his remarks.
