I swear to God, these bastards are treasonous. They should be hung as such.

These soldiers are the next aspiring generation of John Kerrys -- they should watch out that the swift boat vets don't get them and give them a Billy Jack kick in the head!

Seems the military hired some morons who don't know the difference between being drafted and volunteering. It's not up to a bunch of E-1s and E-3s to decided when and where we fight. Court martial them and then kick their goatsmellin' asses out!

Excerpt:

WASHINGTON — Former military generals are criticizing anti-war groups for helping to organize active-duty soldiers to urge Congress to end the war in Iraq.

In interviews yesterday, the generals were careful to say they have no objection to enlisted soldiers petitioning Congress as private citizens. It is a different matter, however, to coordinate this drive so close to the midterm elections and publicize it with the aid of anti-war organizations, they said.

Yesterday, a company that does public relations for the liberal activist political action committee MoveOn.org, Fenton Communications, organized a conference call for reporters and three active-duty soldiers to unveil the soldiers' anti-war group Appeal for Redress.

According to its Web site, Appeal for Redress is seeking signatures of active-duty soldiers for a petition that reads in part, "As a patriotic American proud to serve the nation in uniform, I respectfully urge my political leaders in Congress to support the prompt withdrawal of all American military forces and bases from Iraq."

The group says it now has 213 members.

"I think it is shameful because the timing is so close to the election. They ought to be ashamed of themselves," a retired Air Force lieutenant general, Thomas McInerney, told The New York Sun yesterday by phone from Israel. "The soldiers should be ashamed of themselves for being duped into this. It is to be expected from a MoveOn.org-type group. They have no standards."

Nailed it. The article says there are 213 of them in this "moveon.org-type group." Out of how many hundreds of thousands of active duty military? Wonder how long and hard they had to search to find 213.

And you know who'll go to the brig for it? The soldiers.

We have to put these bastards down...

Gonzales or whoever... do your damn job.

If they had started charging these clowns with sedition from the beginning... this crap wouldn't be happening.

Now I see why a past president shut down the press.

This same crowd has been actively recruiting for years to get members of our intelligence and law enforcement community to betray the country and leak classified secrets to the NY Times. Why would this be a surprise? The only reason they don't literally do campaign commercials with Zawahiri is they know it would cost them more elections. Its not that they are morally opposed to what he wants - the destruction of America and its military - but they just prefer different tactics.

On another thread about this my hometown paper the Brattleeboro Reformer has ben running a series of stories since last Saturday on this ONE military guy who's anti-war, it just won't stop.

On Wenesday I believe these military anti- war prix went from 118 to 267 by Thursday. I think they are able to protest under the "Whistle Blower" act. It's sickening and they are being recruited!

The wording of the "appeal for redress" is simple and respectful: "As a patriotic American proud to serve the nation in uniform, I respectfully urge my political leaders in Congress to support the prompt withdrawal of all American military forces from Iraq. Staying in Iraq will not work and is not worth the price. It is time for U.S. troops to come home."

Today's tripe.

1 tenth of 1 percent active duty who have political left leanings and decided it was time for their 15 minutes of fame.... Shouldn't surprise anyone... They are also all probably getting out of the military shortly and are deciding on running as Democrat candidates... Ask them.

The left so loves Vietnam. I have a friend who will occasionally talk about how wonderful it was. It is sickening. We also have had thugs try to shut down harbor(s), they often shut down recruiting centers (one near me- I emailed the police about an action, and they showed up with dogs...) I do wish the President would deal with these people.

Look closely and you'll find a budding young John Kerry. Look closer and you'll see Fat Ted's hand up his butt.

I hope any person they coerce into helping them understands the possible legal pitfalls under the UCMJ. They (military personnel) would have to be VERY careful what they said.

There should be an expansion unit built at Leavenworth for these pieces of crap. It wouldn't surprise me to learn that these jackasses have been problem children in their units for their entire enlistments - each has probably got a counseling packet as thick as a phone book. And I wonder how many of these POS's has a) been to Iraq and b) actually fired their weapons for any reason other than a test fire in Iraq. 0.27% of the 0.27%, perhaps?

"a company that does public relations for the liberal activist political action committee MoveOn.org, Fenton Communications"

Fenton is a long-time left wing outfit.
