Is this not intresting. Seems the "everyone hates Bush" talking point memo did get out to most of the Country. Seems not even the vaunted Clinton Money machine could keep up with W.

Hi, everyone,
The battle over stem-cell research got ugly this week, and Michael J. Fox was a target. Fox, who is suffering from Parkinsons disease, made front page news with an on-air plea to Missouri voters to elect the Democratic Senate candidate, a supporter of embryonic stem cell research. The ad sparked the ire of conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh, who accused Fox of exploiting his illness. Earlier today, I talked with Michael J. Fox about this, and his activism on behalf of Parkinsons disease. You can see my exclusive interview with this passionate speaker tonight. CBSNews.com will also carry the full interview.
Plus, a fast-moving wildfire sweeping through desert brushlands in California, has killed three firefighters and critically injured two. The firefighters were killed while trying to protect a home from the flames. The fires have driven at least 200 people, along with their animals, from their homes. Bill Whitaker is following this for us.
Well also look at politics in Tennessee, where the race for senate is getting nasty. The NAACP and others have said a tv ad makes an implicit appeal to deep-seated racial fears in its opposition to Democratic Senate candidate Rep. Harold Ford Jr. Ford is locked in a close battle with Republican Bob Corker and would become the first African American man elected to the Senate from the South since Reconstruction if he were to win. Byron Pitts is following the race and will bring us his report on it tonight.
Turning to Iraq: Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld said critics should just back off'' and stop demanding specific deadlines for progress in Iraq, saying it is difficult to predict when the Iraqis will can take control of their country. Meanwhile, today the U.S. reached a grim milestone, as the number of American troops killed in Iraq in October reached the highest monthly total in a year. David Martin will report on this tonight.
Here at home, were also following the economy. Has the housing bubble burst? The median price of a new home plunged last month by the largest amount in more than 35 years, even as the pace of sales rebounded for a second month.
Finally, romance author John Shors seemed destined for the bargain bin until he came up with a clever tactic to massage sales. Just how far will this author go to sell his books? Waitll you see.
Thanks! Katie
