Yeah Junior, we knew that you were at that Playboy party.
I'd rather those in Congress and state legislatures didn't commit adultery, gamble, fornicate, take campaign funds illegally, go to strip clubs, Playboy parties, sell our national security secrets, and the like. It shouldn't be too much to expect those who make the laws to live clean lives so their judgment isn't so impaired or depraved, rendering them subjects for bribery, or biasing them in favor of lobbies of those activities.
Corruption will always be among us but the lower the bar goes for behavior among those we elect, the more our society deteriorates.
Heard of this? ...wonder if it's on YouTube?
I will try again! You like Jr. because you don't know anything about him or his family!!!!!
You know, lots of people who go to church also go to parties. Even parties sponsored by Playboy, perhaps. As you've seen on this thread, many Freepers have no problem with Playboy, either.
Of course, it's perfectly valid to judge someone based on such things, but you may want to be cautious. Some of the people you respect may actually have been to such a party.
I live in Memphis and was flipping through the radio about an hour ago and landed on a "minority" talk show. There is a Bob Corker add going around and in it there is a blond bimbo who tells Jr. to "Call Me" in reference to his Playboy party attendance. The host of the talk show on the radio was talking about this add and said that it was playing the race card and that it is to lead people to believe that if Jr. is elected he will "poke your white women".
Here's the video, folks. (Not of the party!!)

"I never had sexual relations with that woman..." Tell a lie then tell the truth when you have been had.
"I'd rather those in Congress and state legislatures didn't commit adultery, gamble, fornicate, take campaign funds illegally, go to strip clubs, Playboy parties, sell our national security secrets, and the like. "
Well, that would be nice, and all, but it's highly unlikely to happen. People who seek political office are generally not folks who live a straight, narrow life. Lots of adultery and the like in the halls of our national and state legislatures.
Such things are personal flaws. Others, like illegal campaign funds, bribes, and giving up or selling national security secrets, fall into a different category altogether. Folks who do those things should go to jail.
Sexual laxity? Nah. While it's a bad idea, I'm afraid that we'd have empty legislatures if those who were not on the straight and narrow were disallowed such offices. It seems to come with the territory for folks who seek such offices.
LOL!!!! BTW..I live in Memfrica.
The problem is that he tried to get us to clarify what the definition of the word is is by declaring that he did not go to a Playboy MANSION party. He also makes a big bruhaha about his piety, shooting ads from church pews.
Ah, I see. Noose, petard and all.
A coworker was driving so I wasn't the one flipping through the stations. Guess you caught me in a lie..Guess I'm no better than the Dems HA! It wasn't Janis F. There was a name of the show but I don't recall it. I would know it if I heard the name.
We left six years ago. My granddaughter teaches English in the intercity. Has her hands full and over flowing.
Or that he lied about being a lawyer.
Ford just said exactly what Rush Limbaugh said he should have said. Am I wrong?
OK. As I said, I haven't been following this that closely. Sounds like the usual semantics nonsense. Lots of that going around in campaigns everywhere. More to come in the remaining days before the election.
I guess I don't pay much attention to campaign ads and other such nonsense. I study up on the races I can vote in and vote accordingly, based on a candidate's record or statements on issues if there isn't a record.
All the ads are is eye candy for voters who can't be bothered to learn anything.
This Playboy business is some of that.
