As the Republican base fragments and Christian conservatives consider a fast from politics, the polling data point to a mid-term Republican thumping. Less than two weeks from now, Republicans will begin their post-mortem soul searching. And as the corpses of their House and Senate majorities grow cold, so should Karl Roves 2006 campaign strategy.

I've explained it to you personally countless times. Are you claiming that you have no axe whatsoever to grind with the GOP when it comes to small-government issues? Are you satisfied with the Medicare Prescription Benefit? No Child Left Behind? A small-l libertarian is a Republican who fights for a limited-government from within the party. JimRob has endorsed this strategy and supports Ron Paul's Republican Liberty Caucus and allows them to host their forum here on FR's servers.
Ron Paul is cruising to victory in his district. Mike Pence too.
Exhibit Z
Conservatism, and FR, truly needs more people like you.
Amen, and that's all Christians asked for too, in spite of protestations to the contrary.
And even many who aren't labeled Christians abhor the ACLU etc's war against Christianity. A war against Christianity is a war against all those who believe in God.
I'm not, and I don't like their war. It cannot be on a church/state separation principle for them, since I've never heard of them attacking Islam in the public square.
However, my anger towards them has to be tempered since I know they've won several cases on religious freedom for Christians. They aren't consistent.
IMO, this is the kind of professional, responsible management that we need to see more of at prominent conservative websites.
GIVE 'EM HELL, JIMROB! WOO HOO!!!
To: IchneumonThe mods don't have access to the posters' profile pages. I do. And I've removed a few of them. Those that I have removed should take it as a warning (if I didn't ban them in the process).

And so when he and several of us asked what the heck was going on - i.e. was this just a weird software glitch, or had some other member broken into PH's account to do a little vandalism, or had some petty tyrant mod or other PTB decided to up and rip down a member's homepage, or what, it was you who decided not to say word one?
To: jennypActually, I only vaguely remember the incident. Chances are, I probably had them all on ignore which is probably better than banning the whole lot.

Well, life sucks and then you die. Or not. Depending on Whom you believe.
Please don't forget sarcasm tags!
Don't worry. It's probably the last one.
Forget about the topic. This is an important thread.
The ACLU is so consistently on the dark side that any good deeds they have done are under the category of "even a stopped clock". And, of course, their method of threatening small communities with crazy lawsuits solely to enrich their coffers is more than odious and anti-freedom. They are basically fuelled by taxpayer money, by shaking down one town after another.
So, what's the big issue anyway? PH's mysteriously disappearing homepage keeps popping up on other evos homepages anyway. It's not gone, just relocated in many different spots. I wonder why that was never mentioned?
Here's a thread you might be interested in.

So sorry to hear that. NOT!!!
Umm, never mind about PH's homepage clones, I see lots of white these days.
When a post gets pulled, it says "Post removed by moderator". When you pull someone's homepage, it says "". There's absolutely no indication that management has done something deliberate. Then when PH & others tried to find out what happened, you said "".
Do you see the slightest problem with this scenario?
