A Return to Triangulation (libertarion vs social right)
National Review Online ^ | 10/25/06 | David Boaz & David Kirby

As the Republican base fragments and Christian conservatives consider a “fast” from politics, the polling data point to a mid-term Republican thumping. Less than two weeks from now, Republicans will begin their post-mortem soul searching. And as the corpses of their House and Senate majorities grow cold, so should Karl Rove’s 2006 campaign strategy.

... if you don't rope in the cranks, it's going to give your site a black eye.
--Liberal Classic
Yes indeed. But who are the cranks? Could it be the militant atheists who pervert the whole purpose of this site by using it as a forum to promote their silly religious beliefs? Yes their atheism is a religious belief. A belief about God -- even if it is that He isn't there -- is still a religious belief. They can't prove this belief to be true because they can't prove a negative. They have to take it on irrational, blind faith.
... you need to lay the smack down on some of these anti-science posters. They are turning some threads into cesspools ...
--Liberal Classic
What is really anti-science is the perversion of science by militant, atheistic materialism. Here is a news flash for you, Liberal Classic: science is NOT defined as that which supports belief in atheistic materialism. Science must remain rational to remain science. Belief in the notion that life, especially humanity itself, was accidentally assembled from lifeless matter by random chance is irrational. Life is just too complex to take such a notion seriously. And don't give me the usual, shallow "God of the gaps" reply. The real issue is the "creative power of mindless chance" of the gaps. Science has absolutely no clue how to stir up lifeless ingredients into a primitive life form with a reproductive system. Yet the militant atheists want us to believe that what is too complicated for them to figure out how to do on purpose happened accidentally. The atheistic materialists are required by their silly religion to take on faith that this gigantic gap, this gargantuan chasm, was spanned by mindless chance. There is no scientific reason to believe this. It is a belief based on nothing other than their atheistic religious beliefs.

Objective thought on the matter -- thought that is not hopelessly biased by over-zealous atheism -- can see that the only rational explanation for information-based complex systems is an intelligent agent.

You could dump scrabble pieces out of an airplane onto a football field for trillions of years and never find the pieces accidentally arranged into an exciting mystery novel. You need an intelligent agent to get a mystery novel. Humanity is far more complex than a mystery novel, yet the militant atheists want us to believe that the best explanation for the information in human DNA -- information containing the instructions to compose not a mystery novel, but to compose something far more complex: a being capable of writing mystery novels -- came about accidentally. <sarcasm> Sure. And all those ruins of lost cities found by archaeologists aren't really lost cities at all, they are just the way nature accidentally arranged those stones to look like streets and buildings.</sarcasm>

Those who have not been brainwashed by modern pseudo-science understand that the only known source for information is an intelligent agent -- but the militant atheists do not let that fact deter them from pretending that "science" proves their atheism to be true. They are perverting science in their effort to convince others that their religious beliefs have the certainty of science. This notion is laughable and is being seen as such by more and more people all the time. It will end up being seen as the most ridiculous notion ever held by human beings. If it is remembered at all a thousand years from now, it will only be as an example of how the people of our age let the religious beliefs of an irrational minority pervert science.
