Shep Smith, Fox News, accuses Bush of "Cutting and Running from Stay the Course"
Fox News Channel ^ | 10/24/06 | Shep Smith

Posted on 10/24/2006 12:19:37 PM PDT by W04Man

I just heard Shep Smith accuse Bush of "Cutting and Running from Stay the Course". He repeated it several times.... like he was challenging the administration to deny it. I didn't hear him say that others were saying it, he was saying it like he was saying it.

It's long past time for Fox to send this assbag to wherever it is they sent Jeraldo Rivers.

Yep = I saw that little empty headed weasel last night - wanted to puke on him

I pretty much stopped watching him after his sorry as*ed 'reporting' during Katrina.

Then his so-called reporting during the Israel/Lebanon fight. He was obnoxious...and to my surprise, was swiftly brought back to the less harmful atmosphere of the studio. He certainly has showcased his lack of brain power.

I only caught him by chance last night as I walked into the living room -

Shep is like all those main stream media guys. They want to be above it all but underneath the burning heart of a liberal on fire rages.

Don't forget John Gibson, he always stands by his principles and he's even better than Brit Hume in that regard.

" Wow, it ticked me off, big time."

Shep, if he were a normal person, would be hiding in shame and issuing mea culpas for his abysmal reporting during Katrina. His demeanor was not only hysterical, but his "facts" were lies.

He has a case of cranial flatuence which comes from inflated ego. It is also known as "fat head."

There is no known cure. Thus, it is proper to take anything he says with all the credulity of a child who sees pink elephants in his Count Chockula or FrootLoops.

Shep long ago made the transition from "fresh" to "arrogant" to "obnoxious".

I don't need to bash him, since it's easier, and better for the blood pressure, to simply change the channel or turn
off the tv when he comes on.

I think it was last summer that FNC sneaked him on in the middle of the Hezboallah/Israel clash that I saw him last.

Before that it was early Katrina coverage.

I guess Ailes thought people like me would forget what a lousy job he did then, and could put one past us.

FNC viewers deserve better, imho.

I am with you. "Stay the course" doesn't have positive vibes for me either, especially the way the course has been bent since "Shock and Awe".

Oh...look, now he is doing a story about the "anti-Bush Republican candidate", Lincoln Chaffee....

Could he tailor his show any MORE to the left?

It kind of creeps me out watching Shep (gay) Smith flirting with Jane Skinner

I've noticed that too ... could she look more uncomfortable when he does this?  She always seems to cross her arms and back up a step or two when he tries.  You are right, it is creepy to witness.

Do you know for sure that he's gay? I always figured he was but wasn't sure.

"Shep Smith can go @#$% himself!"

I think he does anyway, especially while looking in the mirror.

That little sissy should have been fired after his pathetic wailing about thousands of dead bodies in the Superdome during his coverage of Katrina. He can't even read a teleprompter. He must have something on Ailes to have kept his job this long.
