U.S. SOLDIER MISSING IN BAGHDAD - U.S. MILITARY
(Excerpt) Read more at alertnet.org ...
Just heard on CNN that Iraqi and US troops raided a private Iraqi TV station to search for the soldier and found a large cache of weapons inside but no word on the soldier.
Crap. Ok.
Personally I would rather he be found drunk than decapitated.
OH NO....
If CNN had anything to do with this.....
True. It doesn't change the fact that misinterpreted photos made them think that we were better prepared than we were to respond immediately.
Not that we didn't have the means to respond in theater. We did not have nerve agents, but a freighter full of blister agents was hit by German aircraft in an Italian port, with tragic results.
Probably is but that's what CNN just reported from John Roberts who just happens to be embedded with the missing soldiers same unit.
They need to get the embedded media out of the units so our troops can do their jobs uninterrupted and without enemy propaganda on their heals.
Oh no! Prayers that this soldier will be found alive and well. Prayer BUMP!
Damn........ Prayers
I feel terrible as armymarinemom admonished me for stating what I felt. She asked to not get into this on this thread. I meant no disrespect. I pray for the safe return of this hero but I fear the worst.
Trust CNN to be the first with the video.
I knew why you were reacting like you did...
I saw your post to her..and I am sure she understands.
I am going to concentrate with you and others, on this thread...to praying to get this soldier back.
All of you family members of troops that are over there now, or have lost their loved one over there are going through a LOT...and we understand the fear and frustration you all have.
You might want to get the admin to change the title of the thread. This is NOT a US soldier who is missing
God bless all our Troops and may they find this soldier unharmed.
my anger is that my nephew died near fallujah.
Actually... I'd back that up. The average German officer or soldier still had an understanding of a certain warrior's honor. The Germans did horrific things, but they did treat our POW's with a basic warrior's respect. Much better than they did with the jews, for certain.
I wouldn't defend the Nazis, but I think it is obvious that they were much more ~human~ than our ROP adversaries. These muslims are a far cry from even being considered human. They are mere parasites on humanity, and have no honor.
I am praying hard for this soldier. Please God, Please, Holy Mary Mother.
"The missing service member is an Army translator, and the initial report is that he may have been abducted, said a military official in Washington, speaking on condition of anonymity because the information was not cleared for release."
From Fox News
Your nephew died a hero...I am sorry for your loss and could only imagine your feelings.
