I wonder if she loves the free, fresh wind in her hair....?
How UN-American!!
He's supposed to be defined by his VIC-timhood til the end of time - so that he can be exploited by Liberals to attack our Nation.
How DARE he "get on with his life"??
Send in another platoon of "Grief Counsellors"!!

Her first marriage and his fourth. I wish them happiness.
His wife, Barbara Olson, had her life snuffed out by Islamic murderers on September 11th, 2001.
Ted loved her very much.
She was a FReeper, named "BKO" - her initials. She was always funny, brilliant, and considerate on this board.
I still remember an article R. Emmett Tyrrell wrote about going to Ted Olson's house in Washington DC after her funeral. Many noted Conservatives and powerful Republicans were there. Ted had a picture of Barbara on the kitchen counter top, and was pouring wine for the guests. When Tyrrell approached him, Ted smiled a sad smile and said "No long faces." What courage and bravery.
"More than 300 guests attended the midafternoon ceremony on the golf course, including Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy, former justice Sandra Day O'Connor, Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff, legal commentators Victoria Toensing and Joe diGenova, NPR's Nina Totenberg, legal names such as Robert Bork, Kenneth Starr, David Boise, and Olson's law partner Bill Kilberg. U.S. Appeals Court Judge Laurence Silberman performed the ceremony, and Wall Street Journal Publisher Gordon Crovitz served as best man.
This is Booth's first marriage and Olson's fourth. The couple will honeymoon in Hawaii."
Maybe four is his lucky number.
Barbara Olson and the three thousand others were not killed. They were murdered. The PC media can not even bring itself to use the correct and accurate verb. Scum.
God bless you Ted, I'm sure that Barbara is smiling down on you and your new wife.
Great story, and the greatest compliment to Barbara. Felicitations!!!
I'm glad he's been able to move forward.
And I pray that Barbara is comforted by this, too.
Congratulations Ted & Lady. Wishing you many years of happiness.
Life does, indeed, go on. That "new" wife no more replaces the dead one than having a new baby makes up for one who died- they are separate entities.
Nevertheless, at some point you realize you can't talk to an empty chair, the silence ( oh, God, the silence... ) becomes too much, and you go forth, and do... other things.
And if you're a little bit lucky, you find someone who likes you, too.
let's hope this May/December marriage works out better than Sir Paul's...
On Friday, Washington GOP super lawyer Ted Olson left voicemail messages underscoring that Harman has no knowledge of any investigation. "Congresswoman Harman has asked me to follow up on calls you've had," Olson said. "She is not aware of any such investigation, does not believe that it is occurring, and wanted to make sure that you and your editors knew that as far as she knows, that's not true... . No one from the Justice Department has contacted her." It is not, however, a given that Harman would know that she is under investigation. In a follow-up phone call from California, Olson said Harman hired him this morning because she takes seriously the possibility of a media report about an investigation of her, even though she does not believe it herself.

That's awwesome. Ted Olson is one of the greatest living Americans. So glad he has found happiness again.
Interesting guest list. I didn't know that Nina Totenberg and Robert Bork could even be in the same room together. Throw in Ken Starr and I'd love to be a fly on the wall in the reception. I guess DC is really a small community and people can be adversaries during the day and socialize together at night.
Damn, that is an impressive guest list. My invitation musta gotten lost in the mail. I had some spare time, and would have even de-mothballed my suit for a chance at some of the party favors, like the cast-off next to Boyden.
A life well lived and happiness well deserved.
Best of luck to Ted, but a Napa wedding? Ugh! How trendy!
Every time I think about Barbara Olson I feel this awful pit in my stomach. She is a loss that will always be present, so I sincerely wish Mr. Olson all the best that life can bring him.
