For the PRESS, 2006 isn't an off year Congressional election. If the PRESS can twist the public's view of reality to get a Democrat Congress elected, 2006 becomes a PRESSidential election year. This is because with one wing of government under their wing, the PRESSident (the unelected drive-by media) will once again take charge of the nation's agenda. The six o'clock news will return to the good old days of PRESSident Clinton where incessant PRESSidential POLLs aimlessly led the nation off in this or that irrelevant PRESSidential tangent while terrorists plotted, planned, pillaged and positioned themselves into power around the globe.
To the PRESSident, it matters little how the PRESSident leverages themselves into a leadership role they'll do just dandy with either a Democrat in the White House, or Democrat filled majority in either house of Congress...
