I grew up with a fellow who lived on 81 St. off Elliot. The wedding last week was down by Metropolitan.
It was always a nice neighborhood.

Don't FReep the boss (he's pretty cool)! FReep the loosers in the IT department. I suspect they saw the accumulated time I spent on FR (and a motorcycle forum) and decided these were against company policy. I'm considering a proxy service to re-gain FReep-dom!
And, if I was drowning, and the ACLU had a life preserver...I'd make peace with my maker and hold my breath. LOL

South Jamaica between Liberty and Linden I know that area well also. When I was very little my parents moved to 88th Road, just off Jamaica Avenue. As I remember it [as a very small kid], it was a lovely neighborhood. Only a couple of years later we moved to 125th Street very near the LIRR station. Also nice, at the time.
