More prayers for recovery on the way.
I'll continue praying for a swift & complete recovery. God Bless you both.
prayers sent
Wonderful news! I'm so happy things are going well, and my prayers continue for the two of you. May God continue to be by your sides and help Richard fully heal.
Wednesday update.......
Dearest FReeper FRiends:
Richard was up and walking three times today!
His surgeon is pleased with his progress and some of his 'tubes' may be removed tomorrow.....after a test to see if his stomach sutures have healed sufficiently to begin a liquid diet.
Please continue praying for Richard's recovery and complete healing.
Jesus' words from Luke 8:50 continue to sustain us:
"Fear is useless; what is needed is trust that he will be cured".
With our love and gratitude for your prayers which continue to help Richard heal and keep me serene....
Julie
Good bless you both, Julie!
More prayers on the way.
GOOD news, Julie! Continuted prayers, dear FRiend.
Continued prayers, Julie.
Thanks for taking the time to update us on Richard's progress. Keeping all of your family in my prayers. Take good care of yourself, dear FRiend.
God bless you BOTH! And thank You, Lord for answered prayers, and for those that are yet to come!
Wonderful, Julie. Prayers for continued blessings and progress.
Prayers continue
Good to hear Richard was up and about three times today. : )
"They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength;
they shall mount up with wings as eagles;
they shall run, and not be weary;
and they shall walk, and not faint."
Isaiah 40:31
We're all here, Julie. And we'll keep on praying as long as you need us.
May your future news be good. God Bless you and your man.
We will indeed continue with our prayers for you and Richard.
A great many more than two or three are praying together for you and Richard.
God bless you both.
Good news bump.
I wish I could answer each one of you personally but my time at the computer is very limited. I am at the hospital with Richard from early morning until after 8pm each day.
Right now, he needs your prayers that his gastric system will adapt to the changes caused by the surgery. Today, he was having difficulty with acid reflux, burping and the balance of fluids in his body. His vital signs and blood tests are normal. He is uncomfortable but not in severe pain.
Please pray that Richard's digestive (stomach & intestines) and renal (kidneys, bladder and urethra) systems will regulate and adjust.
The doctor will not release him to go home until these systems are working properly. If things improve over the weekend, he may be able to go home on Monday.
He drank water, juice & eat some jello today but he is still getting IV fluids.
We very much appreciate your continued prayers.
These words of Jesus in Luke 8:15 continue to sustain us:
"Fear is useless; what is needed is trust that he will be cured."
With our love & gratitude,
Julie & Richard
