"The language is directed at North Korean leader Kim Jong Il, who has a long, documented record of living a life of luxury while his people wasted away in famine." Cutting off Dear Leader's supplies of scotch and porno?

What IDIOTS support giving the Chinese and the Russians a veto over our national defense?
How much saltpeter is in the water to get Bush to agree to this?

"I wonder how long it will be before suicide bombers take to the high seas to blow themselves up in the faces of the US Navy, much like they have done at US checkpoints in Iraq. I doubt that you would see N koreans volunteering for suicide duty. Unlike the brainwashed Mohammadans, they don't have 72 raisins waiting for them in Satans brothel. You can also bet that should anything break out Bush will do his best to make an example out of N Korea for the mad Mullahs to ponder in Iran.

Hey... I was alluding to Bolton not getting his confirmation vote and the weak sanctions applied on the Korean madman. As far as Nov. 7... I'm more optimistic than most.

North Koreans have conducted some crazy commando raid type operations in South Korea that were obviously suicidal. I bet they can come up with a few. We'll see.

Would you mind expanding, please? I'm not familiar with the Nakita bit.

Maybe now we can persuade Senator Lincoln Chaffee, to lift his hold on Bolton's nomination to be permanent Ambassador to the United Nations.
In four weeks time, Chafee will be history.

Under this resolution the US Navy can stop inbound and outbound shipping via North Korea.
That is very good.
If a ship starts making its way from North Korea to Iran...we can now stop it and inspect it.
That is good.

Thanks for telling me but, as I mentioned above, I'm embarrassed to admit I don't know about Nakita.

Since containment is immoral in its consignment of millions to tyranny for decades, assassination would be an alternative.
I wonder how the landscape would change with laws against sanctions that hurt populations, instead of assassinations and agitating coups.

On the radio yesterday I was hearing about how Bolton said something to the effect of
"It would really be beneficial if we could get a resolution during the same week NK actually did their nuke test."LOL

Just this morning, on Drudge, it seemed like a UN resolution wouldn't pass. Appears to me that this is a major breakthrough.

...assassination would be an alternative. Not until Reagan's directive to outlaw the assassination of a Sovereign leader is overturned, it won't happen openly by the promotion of the USA.
