The FReeper Canteen is asking all FReepers to please keep 68-69TonkinGulfYachtClub in your prayers.
He has suffered a massive stroke and heart attack.
We know that many of you will have questions, but as of right now we don't have any further information.
Thank you
I'm still praying for a miracle. And also for comfort and ease of pain. I am especially asking that he is able and allows the relationships with his family to be restored.
We pray and think of Tonkin every day. We hope he knows of all the people who love and care about him........
We wish him peace and comfort.... and give thanks for him being in our lives.

prayers
Joining in your prayers for a miracle. And comfort to our dear friend. He is special and unique and has touched us all in so many different ways.
Prayers for Tonk from another old guy....
I promise you he knows you love and are keeping him in your prayers. I'm sure he wears it as a comfort shawl around his spiritual sholders.
I guess there are no more updates.
I think because nothing has changed much.
Continue in prayer for this special man.
Yes I agree. It's a very sad situation for the family and FR.
You are correct. Nothing much has changed.
Continued prayers for this good good man.
Hey Rosie. You are such a jewel. He'd be here if he could I promise. He knows we care and are praying.

Thinking of you and praying for you today Tonk.
I remember taking this picture on a cool day with the temperature somewhere in the 50's at Lake Wanaka in New Zealand. Yet the boys on the pier took off running and dove right in. That's what I call seizing the day.
On the off chance that you are still checking in, I was just hoping to provide some inspiration and encourage you to make the most of what life has handed you.
We are still praying for you Tonk.
What a great photo! I hope it inspires Brian as much as it's inspired me. Tomorrow, I'm finally going up on the roof to get those Christmas lights down, even if I have to get cold and wet. Seize the day!
I was just about to go looking for this thread. I commend your timing. ;-)
Be careful taking down the lights, we don't need more sick or injured people. LOL
Prayers for peace and a realization of all the love and gratitude that surrounds Mr. Tonk. This passage of time tells me that even at his sickest, this is still one determined, strong man. God bless him! :-)
