The FReeper Canteen is asking all FReepers to please keep 68-69TonkinGulfYachtClub in your prayers.
He has suffered a massive stroke and heart attack.
We know that many of you will have questions, but as of right now we don't have any further information.

We don't get to come to FR much these days (raising and in the process of adopting our now 9 year old grandson.) It's been two years now since he came to be with us.
I was deeply saddened and shocked to hear the news about Brian. We've driven past his Coast Guard workplace and wanted to stop by a few times on our way home to family. Always saying maybe "next time" when we aren't in such a hurry!
We won't make that mistake the next time!
Having this happen to Brian was a horrible way to learn a lesson. I'm just sick! Ton's of prayers going his way. We need to slow down in life and smell the decaf coffee ... and if God is going to give us a second chance, next summer we plan on doing just that!
I've only been here twice in the last few days. I haven't had time to drop by in a long time! Perhaps it was so we could pray for our friend. Somehow I think it was.
Prayers for Brian and his family. Speedy recovery brother!

We are caught up in raising our grandson, plus I have to nap for 5 or more hours a day. I understand if it's too much to ask.. but I'm worried sick (like everyone else too) about Brian.
I'll try to get in here for updates. My computering days have been over for the past couple years.

From a family member!
MEDICAL UPDATE: PO and OT going well and Brian asks for them. He continues to be a pleasure to nurse. Transfer to rehab temporarily delayed.
Must be requested by a social worker then a room has to be secured. I hope to have firmer information tomorrow and will let everyone know as soon as something is set.
FAMILY UPDATE: Kitties continue to be well taken care of by close family friends, all are well. Scooter has moved to a neighbors farm where he can play with their three big dogs and have some company around. He's happy and doing fine also. Continued thanks and appreciation to all of you.
Sounds like pretty good news Mojo2001.
