Of all the photos of President Bush and Mark Foley available, this is the one Newsweek chose for its big story on the scandal this week.

I'll admit that picture is a keeper. I hope they just got done fishing though.

LOL this made me laugh, are there different levels of gayness?

And Laura Ingrahm had Evan Thomas on her show today, gushing over a book, and being nice as could be. Disappointed in Laura.... Thomas is a nasally-voiced know-nothing posing as a know-it-all.

We could caption that photo and have lotsa fun.....
Foley: "Mine's this big.".
President Bush: "In Texas they're this big!"
Ex-Rep-Foley: "But, Mr President, you were born in Connecticut" (Sorry, couldn't resist)

Was that your first FR post?
That was pretty funny.

While we see this as annoying, I don't think that people are as stupid as Newsweek does.
The reason you don't discuss politics in polite company, especially today, is that you're guaranteed to p!ss off 50% of the people you talk to.
Anyone who's not a rabid Bush-hater is going to look at that photo, and in their mind knock Newsweek down a notch in their estimation as to who is and isn't biased
This is so clearly over the top in meaning to insult
National security is still the number one voting issue in this country... Foley is nothing more than a distraction
The media and their liberal cohorts are desperate because they smell defeat

Laura can be a total pain. She's nice to some of the liberal media types, but a real hateful biddy to some conservatives who don't agree with her on a particular issue.
I listen to her occasionally because I, too, get ticked off at Mark Davis. It's that voice and that superior tone...he could be liberal. I know he's not, but he has the manner.

Laura has to be a liberal especially with her Monica like performance to evan thomas this morning.

I've gotta say I don't see anything weird about the picture.
Bush is always doing that with his hands. Foley doesn't look good, but who cares.
If that's the worst pic they could find (and I have no doubt that it is), they're up salt creek.

She's lost something since her buddy left the show.
She was always, 'oh, we love so and so.'
I understand not being rude to a guest, but she doesn't hesitate to be confrontive to some guests and she was nothing but deference to that guy this morning.

I like Laura, and will continue to listen.
She like so many of her Conservative counterparts, NR, Fox hosts, Weekly Standard, WSJ, Wash Times, ect. are afraid of the more powerful liberal MSM.
Especially NR. Newsweek and Time have run rings around them for decades, and NR has not grown, nor have they expanded their influence and education of Americans on Conservatism.
And yet NR and Laura continually condemn Republican/Conservative office holders for being timid, when they cave at the first shot.
No office holders can legislate, be elected, or even run without knowing they have some media backup.
Our poor guys in office have none, and never have had any.
Which is why Repub/Conserv are to this day labeled, as racists, bigots, homophobes, rich, wanting to poison water and air, mean-spirited, warmongers, crazy Christians, woman haters, and starving children and elderly.
Basically we on the Right are in-human in the minds of half of Americans.
The liberal media have done their job with no one calling them on it, not even our small media.

If there's one magazine I'd love to see go under, it's Newsweak
To: governsleastgovernsbest
Newseek is notorious for framing pictures.
When GWBush and Laura were in Germany, they were visiting a historic site with a bridge with a sign that said "danger ahead" they framed the picture to have the "danger ahead" and GWBush in the same "frame".
