Thanks for the info.
This will hasten the Japanese butching up their defense/military posture, becoming ever more our valuable ally and countervailing force to ChiCom imperialist pressure.
It may as well awaken the South Korean sunshine flower-power somnambulism, a smelling salt of realpolitik.
The Swampocrats would that this would depress the Dow Jones Industrial Average and dampen Republican electoral prospects.
Yet they have opened another door into their face--for sleeping dogs have not lain quietly, but set off new-q-lur weapons.
The Axis of Evil--far from a political term of art of the Machiavellian Karl von Rove--lives.
Thrust and parry escapes John Kerry
He'd sooner nuance than be proactive
He cannot box, merely Botox,
I love the smell of Dukakis in the morning--
It smells like. . .victory.
Bill Richardson Opines. 7-6-06
"No its time for you to butt out and go back to your desserts in NM. Please tell me why Democrats cannot learn from their own miserable failures? Is it because they cannot see where they failed? If so, we have a serious problem. Because they keep trying to push their failed actions upon us and the world. Someday this will lead to a real red glare day on a west coast city."
And Szilard.
Einstein was not part of the Manhattan Project.
Yeah, I know. But he prodded Roosevelt into funding it with that letter.
Actually, it was Leo Szilard who had the idea of warning Roosevelt and who wrote the letter, and had Einstein sign it as his own.
LOL... good one :)
Thank you, Jimmah Carter, for your fine work in arming the North Koreans with nukes.
You're welcome. USGS now reporting 4.2 magnitude about 240 miles NE of Pyongyang.
But I don't think anyone can honestly say they expected a large device from NK at this point in time. Yes, it's small, but it was a successful test and that's exactly what NK needed. It'll be very interesting to see what Japan's response will be.
That's true, yes...
Thank you, B.J. Clinton and Maddy half-wit. A little more of your legacy we now get to pay for. Well, at least you had fun, even if it was at the expense of freedom loving people across the globe.

China and Japan Take Steps to Mend Fences
By JOSEPH KAHN
Published: October 9, 2006
BEIJING, Oct. 8 China and Japan said they had made progress addressing their historical animosities and territorial tensions on Sunday, as Shinzo Abe, the new Japanese prime minister, devoted his first overseas trip to mending ties with Asian neighbors.
The Chinese president, Hu Jintao, called Mr. Abes visit, the first to Beijing by a Japanese leader in five years, a turning point for two Asian powers, whose relations had sharply declined. Mr. Abe told reporters on Sunday night that he also considered the event a turning point that will lead Japan-China relations to a higher level.
The trip coincided with fears that North Korea would test a nuclear weapon at any moment, which may have helped focus the meeting on a common strategic concern rather than on political disputes.

Unlike Japan, the Korean peninsula is almost completely geologically inert.
That's PERFECT!
Thank you!
