Man you are good. Some expert (not a journalist) on Foxnews is saying that the 400 KT is very large and it almost impossible that they were going to test something that big,

It does no such thing. Where is the so-called "precedent", since we've known for years, that Kimmy has nukes. Okay, so they may as yet be capable of reaching us, but they came pretty close, the last time they set of something, of getting awfully close to Japan!
To: Deek
Thanks. Fox source phone interview just said "not a usable nuclear weapon indicated by this test."

Yeah, if the administration official didn't make a goof, I'm going to have to call pro-US spin on that one. The North Koreans pretty much got what they wanted. A successful test that has given it the world's attention.

By the way this "expert" is technically correct but politically very wrong, he want us to negotiate with North Korea.

FROM DU: (Bushout06, i.e. INSANE)
"Every country that Bush threatens should have nukes"
"Too bad Saddam didn't have nukes."
It would be a pitiful little fight if I actually met that person.
To: nopardons
Just because they shot a missile that can hit Japan does not mean they have a nuke that can be carried by a missile.
Most first generation nukes are far too large to be delivered by missiles.

So I've been told.
To what, exactly, other than this twee factoid, do you think that I was responding to? :-)
To: COEXERJ145
Not that much, but yes, gas prices will probably go up, over this.
To: Ragnar Danneskjold
Damn Truman for not letting McArthur finish the job.
To: Flightdeck
DU slime are blaming bush for not using diplomacy..LOL

I wanted to smack that guy. Didn't take him 2 seconds to slam Bush. Didn't Kerry base his whole campaign on wanting us to use the international community?

Considering how FAST is was, that YOU blamed this on President Bush, go tell you DNC buddies that it will NOT help them any, if they try to do the usual "BLAME BUSH" dance, on this one.
To: Axhandle
That will show them! Kim Jong Il, you have not yet met the fury of a UN condemnation and an angry wag of our collective index finger! You WILL be sorry!!! I can't believe they did this after the UN urged them not to. You could be right, I think a full blown letter of condemnation might be hitting them. Oh! the hughmanitee

Einstein was not part of the Manhattan Project. Yeah, I know. But he prodded Roosevelt into funding it with that letter. :-)
Cheers!

I don't know about the rest of you, but the thing I find the most shocking about all of this is that it's 11PM CST, on a Sunday night, and Fox News has an anchor and is actually covering this live!!!
